Q: will this work for an hour lesson?

Just about. According to university studies, no fly spray lasts more than an hour and at least with this one you know you aren't poisoning your horse with chemicals.

Q: Does this work for Mosquitoes also?

Not sure. We put up bat houses so no skeeters.

Q: Does this product work better than Equiderma?

I am not familiar with Equiderma so I don't know the answer. All natural/herbal products don't have the killing power of chemical based products. Most natural/herbal products are repellents and are not designed to kill insects. Using alternative insect killing products to reduce the fly/insect population, maintaining a clean living environment and if you choose, using feed-thru fly control products help a great deal in alleviating the summer pests.
