TEMO 529 Wheel Lock Nut Screw Removal Key Anti-Theft Lugnut Socket S3056 for Vw Audi Vag Volkswagen Vehicles

I lost the wheel lock key on my 2022 VW GTI (left on the ground in an airport parking lot when I had to change a flat real quick) Dealership wanted over $200 to remove and replace all 4 with a new set so I got this Temo key from Amazon. It worked perfectly. I read lots of reviews that said it was soft metal so I was very careful and had no problems.

Even though I am going to throw this socket and the wheel locks in the trash, this saved me a lot of money. The car I bought had wheel locks and the socket was nowhere to be found. I contacted the dealership and although they have a master set of VW sockets, they wanted to charge $84 to remove them!!! I quickly found this much cheaper alternative and within 5 minutes, I was able to remove the wheel locks and install regular lug bolts.

This product broke after one tire. It fit fine but broke too fast. Worst quality, it was a plastic piece within the part. Do not buy!!!!

Needed this product for my Volkswagen CC 2012 S model because when I bought the car it didn’t come with the lock key for the tires!!! This tool saved me so much money and time!!! Thank you

Item not made of solid steel but will work to get lug nut off if not frozen too bad.

I am able to get the wheel lock off with this without any issue. Maybe the other negative reviews had the wheel lock put on with too much torque, and stripped the key?

This fit. But it had such shallow of a bite that it just slipped.I took my car to Costco and two different VW dealerships and none of them could use this to remove my wheels.Costco does not carry wheel lock keys and the first VW dealership "lost theirs. The second one had it but tried this first with no luck and were visibly/verbally frustrated.I actually tried it myself before taking it to the second dealership using a hand impact driver set. If you are not familiar with what that is, you hold a tool against the nut with the proper sized socket and slam it with a sledge hammer. It forces the tool into the socket (in this case the "key") but that also did not work with this.Its a complete piece of trash. Do not purchase it, go to a VW dealer who actually has the "key" you need and have them remove your locks for free.Then either buy new locks with the correct key or do as I did and replace them with regular lug bolts.I could not imagine being stranded on the side of the road using one of these pieces of **** trying to change my tire. Well, I could. It just wouldn't happen.

Saved me money and the headache of having to visit the dealership to have my wheel locks removed when I misplaced my original key. Product arrived quickly and is solidly constructed. Absolutely no issues with fitment onto the dealer installed wheel locks of my GTI and worked just as well as the original key. Just make sure to do your research to ensure you are ordering the correct key for your specific wheel locks. Highly recommended.

Used it once and the tool itself became stripped. Not made of the best material... the bolt itself is just a terrible design.

Lost my key, found my patterns 'code' and bought the matching key. Removed all the key bolts and replaced with regular bolts. The key looks to have a cast iron mould of the original pattern. Worked plenty good for me.
