Magic Bag Neck To Back Hot/Cold Pack, 1300ml

I had one of these in the early 2000s when I was a kid growing up in Ontario, I just got rid of mine a few years ago, probably because it lived in my freezer when I wasn’t using it. Now I’m living back in the United States and I was hard pressed to find a replacement. It had to be a “magic bag” because nothing can compare… and then I remembered: AMAZON!! I cannot stress how much I love this thing. Buy one now… actually, buy a few of them!!! Go! Now! Buy!

Really like the way it sits on your shoulders and you can walk around like that. Have used it on the lower back as well while sitting in a recliner chair. Stays where it’s put and relaxes the muscles. Holds the heat well. Haven’t tried the cold pack feature yet. Prefer heat.

I like the fit of these around the neck. That same shape also fits on a painful hip, though not as well. It's meant for a neck, after all.It gives directions for heating it that require multiple sessions in the microwave at 30 seconds per session. I followed the direction the first couple of times I heated it and then simply set the microwave for the time I found it took to heat. Both heated to the same degree.Mine doesn't hold the heat for a very long time but I've found that wrapping a winter scarf around it, when on my neck, helps insulate the bag and therefore keeps the heat the most.I wouldn't say it takes my pain away, but it works as a counter-irritant, allowing me to focus on the comforting warmth instead of the pain.

I liked the weight of the product and the fabric seems nice and durable. I've only used it frozen thus far, but love that it can go hot or cold. I'm enjoying it thoroughly.
