Antimo Caputo 00 Rinforzato Flour (Molino Caputo) – 5 Lb Repack

I've been struggling with homemade pizza for quite some time. I was passionate (cause it's my favorite food!), I've read the books, but still struggled to the point of a frustration induced hiatus. I read about "00" flour but didn't think too much of it, I though flour was flour for the longest time, in my ignorance. This flour proved to be exactly what I "kneeded" to produce pizza to my minimal standard, now with practice I will perfect! I was able to stretch a crazy thin crust with no holes! In the past, I found myself patching a few. It tasted good, decently airy, once I figure out a better heat source (cause my oven apparently sucks!) I will be well on my way to never ordering pizza ever again lol!

The folks at BrickOvenBaker seem to really know their stuff. The flour arrived in a sturdy, professional-looking bag with a recipe printed on it. I would not buy this from any other marketplace seller - from the reviews on similar products, you might end up with generic flour in a ziploc bag.Makes an amazingly smooth, stretchy dough.

The product is great but a little pricey. I didn't know that Whole Foods also carry this brand at half the price. They don't have the 5 lb bag but the 2.2 lb bag is only about $5.

This is the perfect high gluten flour for pizza. The crust comes out crunchy on outside and soft on inside.

Way more expensive than the grocery store !

The package is not the same as the picture. Is this the same manufacturer?

This was recommended to me to try. Our dough we made for homemade raviolis was a much softer, manageable dough than with just all purpose.
