Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story (Member Book)

Life changing read! Seriously! I have been a christian since I was 7, and I’m now 35. I have heard the stories of the Old Testament my entire life.....and I have THOUGHT that I was in pretty good standing with understanding what needed understanding until I read this book and my eyes were opened to a new way of making it all make sense together. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat at times, so excited about what was coming next... and it’s the same stories I’ve always known but now they just make 1,000 times more sense when they are put in order. It helps you understand the real people, and it’s summarized in a way to keep you from bogging down. It’s crazzzzzzzy to think how perfect God’s plan is. It was no mistake that I was led to this book, and I can’t wait to share it with others. Angie is very entertaining and she speaks the truth (our inner thoughts at times) and that helps you to chill out and realize we are all not bible scholars and we don’t have to be to understand what God is trying to tell us and show us in the Bible. Angie is an excellent writer for people in my age group (I do believe we are the same age... so I was perfectly pleased with her humor, tactics, and need for visual organization. As a visual learner I could really SEE through her words to make it all so much more meaningful and real. I would highly recommend this book to Christians who were saved at a young age, and who grew up in church and didn’t exactly stay as close to God through college and beyond.... the ones that need to make a comeback. You have the foundation, you just need to extra pep in your step and it’s like an entire new world of thoughts. The way angie moves through the Bible is neat because as you go, you build, build, build through time.... and it all starts coming together.... seamlessly. For real!Excited about this wonderful new read and resource. I can see myself going back through it through time to refresh and refresh.... Church sermons and Sunday school lessons will even make more sense for me now, and I’m just super excited about that!Way to go Angie! Love it!!

The headline may be confusing, but listen. I was raised Catholic, was baptized, went to CCD for my First Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation, and I pride myself on attending (even on Live Stream, thanks COVID) on as many Sundays as I can. I am a believer. I believe there is a God, and I try to live my life every day in a way that will get me through the pearly gates of Heaven. But, with that being said - if you were to ask me who Abraham, Levi and Isaac are and what their significance is -- I couldn't tell you. I wanted to not only believe in the Bible and God and the messages -- but I wanted to know the exact details and every story, short or long, that the Bible entails.This book (Seamless) really makes you look in depth and in relatable, plain & simple ways. I look forward to reading this every Sunday & I have begun writing in my Bible and reflecting.And, for some people THIS matters: It is modernized and chic and really geared towards Women. I love it. I have recommended it to so many friends who also love it.Don't hesitate, dive in!

This is my favorite Bible study book I have ever encountered. It is a basic, literal study of the Bible, just like you would study a subject in school. It weaves together people, places, events and books of the Bible to show how they all connect and ultimately tell the story of the God of the universe. I have always been intimidated by the Old Testament and remembering everything, and this book has been life changing for that. Angie's writing style is light and funny while also vulnerable and honest, which was very relatable for me. I recommend this book to everyone I know! It is a 6 week study that has 5 days in each week. Even though this book is made for a group, I've done it both on my own and later on again with a group. I have been a Christian for 10 years and I wish I would have read this book many years ago! This is such a powerful tool for gaining Bible knowledge!

I am currently starting my second time through the study- it is SUCH a helpful discipleship tool. It helps new believers (and those of us who are not so "new" but maybe haven't studied the scriptures like we should) see that Jesus is in every part of the Bible and brings fresh perspective, especially to the old testament.I recommend this study to every woman who is wanting to learn more about the bible or feeling overwhelmed at the thought of wading through it all. I've never chuckled so much reading a bible study as I have with Angie Smith!

If you want to understand how the Old Testament relates to the New Testament this is a must! This provided a more in depth look at the history mentioned in the New Testament so you can further understand why things happened. Everything is from the bible, she gives you a path to follow and helps you connect the dots. I absolutely loved this study!

This book is AMAZING!! I learned so much and can’t wait to do more from this author!

1st impression: this is a very nice workbook excited to dig in.2nd impression: I don't like the back cover. It opens and folds out which is great but it doesn't fully cover the back pages and that bugs me3rd: flipping through I realized there are pages that you can't do unless you also purchased videos. I didn't realize that. Little disappointed there. I know many who are on tight budgets. I was excited about this and that it was affordable.But from the flip through it is wonderfully formatted and I will still do all I can minus the purchase of the videos.

Very well written study for people who want to understand the old testament and how it relates to the new testament. Great for new Christians. Angie adds humor and insight to the sessions.

Enjoyable, informative and easy to follow. Used with YouTube videos which are no longer available but not vital.

This is a delightful and user friendly overview of the story of the Bible while making it inclusive of a Bible 'study', with appropriate background and meaning. Author is light hearted in her approach who offers much personal sharing, whether you are for that approach or not, the information is excellent. If you are a new believer or a long time believer who still struggles with some fundamental understanding this is a great resource. I benefited greatly from this little study.

A great way to read and understand the Bible. Angie's voice is so personal and funny.
