Makes good kombucha, easy for beginners
I've never made kombucha before so starting from scratch was a little intimidating for me. This helped me make a healthy scoby and really tasty kombucha. I've already jarred my first batch and am starting on another one. It has everything you need to start, including the tea. There are super detailed instructions and even recipes.The only small complaint I might have is that the stick on thermometer didn't quite work, but that's a small detail. If you're getting this then you might want to consider finding some other method of checking the temperature. I just kept the heating pad on and left the jar in front of one of the heating vents in my house, and it was fine.

Awesome starter kit!

Scobie did not ferment the tea.
I’ve been making kombucha for over 5 years and never had trouble with my scobies, this one did not ferment the tea after 7 days of warm weather, I had ordered from you before, a different brand, and had no issues.

Good kit and well designed, pretty simple instructions. Makes about six 500-ml bottles per batch. Fun to do and cheaper than buying your booch at the health food store.

Many missing items
Ordered this for my mum's birthday and unfortunately she had to improvise considerably to go about making her kombucha. According to her, these were the missing items:1) Breathable cloth cover2) PH testing strips3) Organic black tea and sugar cane

Love this kit! I have been wanting to make Kombucha for so long but never knew where to begin. This kit made it SO easy. Everything you need to get started is there with the instructions all you have to do is put the ingredients together. Can't wait to taste my first batch and to start playing with the flavors! :)

Great starter kit.
I like the kit. It came with everything needed to start your own brew.I'm not 100% on the scoby. It's somewhat small and after numerous batches, it does seem to want to grow. My kombucha has turned out fine though so it's working.

very easy to follow brewing instructions
am not a chemist so not sure what the end product has but it sure has very good qualities that have balanced my gut and reduced my bowel irritation.
