My new favourite EV olive oil
This is a beautiful EV olive oil - I bought my first 3 litre can at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown and have only just needed to order a second can. It has a wonderful taste - I quite often lick my fingers after using this on salads, on bread or as a dipping sauce. I do sometimes use it for shallow frying but only sparingly as I think the flavour is too good to be wasted on frying!I would also say that it's very good value for such a high quality olive oil, and most of all I love the satisfying 'glug' sound that it makes when being decanted into a smaller pouring flask!

This is not your average supermarkets itlaian oil from Puglia or Spanish oilThis is from Umbria so expect something milder, sweater and a fruitier than usual.As such, it pairs well with both meat, fish, soups, the usual salad or the regional (and only real) bruschetta made with toasted bread (over an open fire ambers) brushed fresh garlic and, indeed, seasonal oil.Albeit it's fresh taste might decieve, rest assured it add an extra dimension to all your dishes so I would't use to cook with it and just drizzled over your dishes, trust me I was born in the same region

Will take time to adjust to the taste..
Thought i had made an error when I purchased this EVOO,poured a Tablespoon and drank it down.Burnt my throat!!!.. A Lady friend told me that's a sign of good quality.I expect it will take me time to get used to this EVOO.🥴...at the moment ,I can't say I enjoyed it,it doesn't taste nice and fruity as some have written...but ...

Damaged product.
Farchioni olive oil was recommended to me as an excellent product. Unfortunately, Amazon's packaging was not strong enough to withstand the product being dropped. The dented tin made the product unsuitable for me to give as a gift.
