Coffee Tamper Espresso Coffee Press 51mm / 2" with Coffee Tamper Mat

This is perfect for my needs! I am not a Barista nor am i I chasing the perfect expresso . I wanted to upgrade my tamper from the plastic tamper that came with my delonghi espresso machine. Didnt know it was this complicated or expensive. This was the right price for me. The mat and tamper are perfect fit for my set up. My portafilter measured 2 inches = 50.8 so I guess I am off .02 mm. But I am happy. I read some other reviews about washing the tamper. I see no need too. Its only for dry coffee, so I just need to wipe it off with a dry towel. This was the only tamper/tamping mat combo I saw on Amazon. I've had it for 2 months and I'm very happy with it. My Delonghi Dedica Deluxe came with a plastic spoon/tamper combo tool that was difficult to get an even tamp with. This metal tamper was a nice upgrade.

This coffee tamper has the heft to get the job done without undue pressure being applied.

I've had an espresso machine for a few months already and was using the cheap plastic tamper that comes with it.An ACTUAL tamper that is heavy is definitely a life changer. More than expected.the mat is also super nice to use, it is not too big and it even fits on the counter over my dishwasher, which is nice (i was worried it would be too "long" and block the door)

Love the tamper...great weight and circumference for my Delonghi Dedica Porta filter. Runner May is awesome.

Fits nicely on the benchtop, not too big not too small, the tamper is really nice to use and weighty. All very easy to clean. Great value and would recommend!
