I had purchased this at a retail store 18 months ago for my new grandson but it was no longer available when my granddaughter was due this month. Happy to find it on Amazon. Not that hard to make and looks cute and personal.

I’ve made 2 of these recently due to my close friends having babies at the same time. I’ve done a both big and girl and will be doing a 3rd for a baby on the way! I chose not to do the gray stitching around the edges as I wanted to keep it simplistic

I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the thread. The blue is very light. I bought my own thread and chose darker colors to show up better

Disappointed in this kit,floss is very cheap and very skimpy,advertised needle included,received none,hoop is very cheap. Aida is very skimpy and very stiff. Decided to look for a different one to do the newborn sampler

All materials in this kit are of good quality, the instructions are really easy to follow. It produced a beautiful, personal gift for my friend.

Brilliant. I haven’t done cross stitch since I was a child so basically have forgotten everything. This kit was an amazing one to start with. My little boy is 10 months old so personalised it for him and it couldn’t have been easier. Really pleased with it. I’ve definitely caught the cross stitch bug now.

Loved making this - the kit has everything you need and instructions, so as a complete beginner I found this easy to follow and was able to create one that looked exactly like the picture.The only things I was less happy with was the quality of the hoop frame - it was very plasticky and cheap looking, which is a slight drawback as this was a gift.

Very cute little design, easy to follow instructions and will be a lovely gift once finished. Comes with pink and blue thread so can be used for a boy or girl. 4/5 purely because the plastic frame seems a little flimsy and you have to screw it together very tightly to stop it coming apart while you're sewing. Fingers crossed it stays together once gifted!
