Excellent for hounds with long ears. Heals keep the dogs ears clean and dry and slows their eating so choking from eating too fast, is not an issue. Well made.

I have been searching for a water bowl for my Basset Hound where his ears won't get drenched. This is genius and solves the problem. My Rottweiler and cats can also use these bowls.

The bowls are great for keeping your dog’s ears clean but do not hold enough for a large dog (mine is a 50# dog). I keep both bowls full of water and that works. The mat doesn’t absorb water, it’s very cheap and the water just sits on top of it until it evaporates or dries on its own. Fast shipping.

My 2 have had all their meals in these for over a year, this is the best way to feed Bassets I know of.

The mat lets water soak through, damaging wood floors. The bowls are all plastic so slip around without the mat. Love the idea, poor execution.The recessed wells in the mat collect water which eventually soaks through. Bowls with rubber on the bottom would keep them from slipping around, and a better, non-porous mat would be great.Value for the money is extremely poor. This couldn't have cost much of anything to produce. It's just cheap plastic.

Our small Cavalier has no trouble getting her snout in to eat and keeping her ears out. Just for scale, she’s 16# and smaller than the usual cavalier, but these work for her. They would also be fine for larger dogs.

These bowls are solid and of high quality, and definitely do the job of keeping the ears clean. A couple of thoughts to make them even better:1. The mat that it comes with is a very cheap foam material. I've been using these daily for a couple of weeks and there are dings in them which will soon turn to holes and render them worthless. You should instead have a rubber pad or feet on the bottom of the bowls because these do slide around easily on our kitchen floor.2. I have a 30 pound puppy and I feed her twice per day. At present, I am almost completely filling them with food each meal time. When she tops off at 50 pounds, they will unfortunately be too small to use any longer, unless I would be willing to refill them during each meal. Maybe offer a larger size?

My dog has long floppy ears and these bowls are great for that. I do wish they were metal because they are pricey and easy chewed on. They keep are dogs ears clean and dry.

I rarely write product reviews but wanted to for the Ear-Clear; the design is so clever yet simple. Our Basset Hound puppy arrived just a few days a go and took to the bowl instantly - see photos. The bowls are easy to clean and look great! We haven’t had to towel down his ears. Please consider making the bowl on a bigger size - larger dogs (ie. Basset Hounds) may outgrow the bowl as their food portions increase.

Love the product my dog doesn’t get wet ears. Would recommend it to anyone who has a dog with long ears
