So Far Working Great for the Geese
We have lived on the lake for over 30 years and have had a horrible geese problem. If you know geese you know they are nasty birds that ruin your yard. My husband did some research and found that geese do not like flashing lights. (the lights must be mounted at eye level of the gees) These are solar and work wonderful. I get up in the morning (still dark out) and the lights are still flashing. It seems to be keeping the geese out of our yard at night from nesting. I haven't seen their babies yet, but hopefully it will keep working. We also ordered a green laser pointer to use during the day when we are home. It works amazingly!

Fast shipping but poor packaging.
Great littl self contained unit, wish they were a little brighter but at night they can be seen just fine. Turned on both lights to see if they worked and the photocell turned on and off the light like they should, both worked and I'm going to place them in sunlight to charge them. The area I have then get direst sunlight 2/3rds of the day and that seems to carry them thru the night no problem. Advice, like with any solar charged product make sure you place them in direct sunlight for the first day so to fully charge the battery, also if you can place them in a spot that can get the most available sunlight during the day this way the batteries only have to be topped off during the charging cycle.

Good geese deterrent and surprisingly - fully submersible if kept upright!
Ordered 2 of these to try and get rid of geese in our neighborhood pond - its about 2 acres.First one went on a pole sunk into the mud and started flashing away the very same night. Got some worried texts from neighbors asking if we'd lost a drone in the pond, and then someone thought something had fallen off a plane and was in the process of calling the police - ie, they are pretty bright and visible from at least 1/4 mile away..The other is stuck on top of an inverted bucket and is happily bobbing around the pond working like a champ.Since storms have been rolling up Eastern US this April, we had a water level rise of about a foot in the pond and the light on the pole disappeared beneath the water surface - I thought someone had removed it but no, it was there and I figured it was toast. When the water level dropped, it started flashing again - so they are sealed very well indeed! Not sure I would tip it upside down in water as that would let water in through the switch, but since it was anchored to the bottom and the switch is protected on the bottom inside the plastic collar, it remained fully functional when it emerged again... great!Geese aren't a big fan of them and we've got 2 hold outs as opposed to the flock of 20 from this time last year.Well worth it, and considering "real" geese lights are closed to $300-400, well worth a bit of fiddling around with.

Good but not the best yet! I have hope for better manufacturing in the future. We are Buyers and will buy more, but...........
These units are ok. We use them as warning beacons around the lab at night. But a few of them are not working and only a few months old. It seems that either the switch is bad or the batteries don't charge and these are in full sunlight. We are ordering more to replace the one not working. It is most important that we have these beacons to protect the public and ourselves do to the nature of our work. Sometimes they work very well, and sometimes, well, they just don't. As a lab, we have a budget to maintain and we bought these hoping that the solar aspect would be good. These units are in full sunlight during the day and placed in a manner that makes them exposed to full solar radiation. I wonder if the manufacturing is sometimes a bit lax in their quality control. Overall, they work, but we keep on replacing the ones that don't seem to work after a few weeks. We find that moisture gets under the dome and that in itself is not good. Being in Florida, we get a lot of afternoon thunderstorms ad maybe that is the cause and effect. But the switches are not as they should be. On or off, not sort of stuck in the middle of any operation. We have to purchase more of them due to the failure of these few units, and while we approve of their overall performance, maybe we got a few bad ones out of production run. Pleased, but a bit dismayed due to the fact that the failure rate orf either the red or yellow seems to be a bit much and a lot less than expected. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YWHT6DE/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0

Well made, reliable and perfect for marking driveways for large trucks!
We load bulk carrots into semi trucks from August until the middle of December. Sometimes off some very busy state roads. This little light is the perfect addition to the cones and warning signs we place. Doesnt look bright up close but can see it from almost a mile away in clear weather. The best part is it's not overly bright as to distract passing vehicles. It's perfect for the truck drivers to see. Only complaint I have is they need a gps tracker as I've have a couple swiped lol. Very good product the auto on and off works flawless! I am buying more as I write this!

Garbage
Possibly the worst on here. Bought 2 of them. Only one worked and the other one works only sometimes even after sitting in the sun for hours. Garbage.

These are not long lasting
I bought 2 of these January 2019 and mounted them outdoors in Oklahoma. They both stopped working May 2022 and I contacted seller. They wouldn't replace but offered 2 for half price. I bought two more. Now both are dead in less than a year!! Not a recommended buy at all. I'm buying another brand today.

Worked great until battery died
We were using these to deter geese off our lawn and it worked great. We have taken them out after storing them in off position indoors all winter and now it seems the battery is dead. How would I get a new battery? Thanks
