Masterplug Heavy Duty Four Socket Surge Protected Extension Lead with 2 USB Ports, 2 Metre, Black

Hefty, solid plug extension that seems to be made well. This one has four sockets and two usbs. Also has a power button and power on indicator light. Bought to replace a cheaper surge protector plug that had less than a year, but started cutting out and making crackling noises. No problems with this one. A bit more pricewise, but I have a lot more faith in it safety wise and it being able to take a few knocks, just seems to be overall a better quality built socket extender. Will look to buy Masterplug again when I need to replace some of my aging surge extenders in the future based on this model.

Really pleased with this, it so neat and compact. The sockets are upside down, which is great as those 'awkward' plugs fit in brilliantly. Like others had said, it a wee more pricey than I'd normally pay, but it's a good make by masterplug, so know I'm getting quality, plus it's compact and fits either on a table or neatly in a smaller space (It's where I have mine) so well worth it. I bought a 6 way as well. Can recommend.

Reading some horror reviews of other USB extensions smouldering and/or failing I was pleased to find one made by Masterplug - a brand I have had confidence in for many years. However as you will find - it is not one of the cheapest by any stretch of the imagination, but I didn't buy it for that - I bought it for brand reliability and its compact design. I'm using this as an extension from an inaccessible wall-socket situated behind a wardrobe in my bedroom. With that in mind, the blue and white lights of the on/off switch in a darkened room are really quite bright - had they been red this would have been less of a problem. Personally it doesnt bother me as the extension block is virtually under my bed but it may be a disturbing bright light if situated elsewhere in the bedroom - though this is easily fixed by a piece of black carpet or duct tape over the offending light - that white/blue light is something the makers should consider modifying with future designs perhaps!

Excellent buy a bit bulky item. Very stable and useful indeed with inbuilt protection. I have bought three and am very pleased indeed.

Excellent product, robust & looks sleek. Ideal to use in an area where your plugs are visible as it’s neat & benefit of the on/off switch so you remember to switch off when not in use. I would buy again. More expensive than a regular power bar but there’s no comparison really this is a much slicker product.

Very well made the cable is very thick and well made does have surge protection which is nice to have does have a on light indicator the length was fine for what I needed would buy again if I was in the market for another one

This is a game changer extension cord. I have three. The best thing is that I can put it on my desk for work and easily charge things and use all my work tech. I like that I can turn it off when not in use.
