Great cage, birdie loves it!

I have a budgie and a Linnie that have lived together peacefully for years. I had a different cage but wanted a longer/wider one so I picked this one. I like this cage quite a bit but there are quite a few issues with it. The locks on the cage doors are not easy to use, there are some pretty large gaps around the top of the cage, I'm missing the front door hardware, some of the bars are bent and the box it came in was horrible shape. If the product wasn't so damaged and things were a bit easier to use I might have given it 5 stars. Overall its a great size for two small birds.

This cage might be an ok cage if it arrived undamaged and if you didn't keep anything bigger than a cockatiel in it. I'd have returned it but I had to have something to transport my bird from MN to FL in and I didn't have time to have it replaced or buy a new one. It sucks that I spent so much money on a cage that came to me with a broken tray and multiple broken bars. I was lucky no harm came to my bird from having to use this broke-ass cage. As it is, he broke additional bars and managed to strip paint off it in multiple places over the week he was housed in it.

The cage arrived damaged in some areas. The directions to put it together were horrendous. The doors for the food aren’t easy to use. The door to the cage is tiny and it’s a medium size cage so it makes it difficult to clean the top and back of it from the inside. It also makes it difficult to hang toys. I would not purchase this cage again.

The box and cage were really damaged.

I’ve got two Lineolated parakeets (Size of Lovebirds). They were in a large vision cage and it just wasn’t enough room for two. This cage is sturdy and well made. Wasn’t terrible to assemble and was able to do so alone. Plenty of room but not so large they won’t use the whole cage. The latch is great and the birds cannot open it. The bowl doors give easy access to all 4 bowls. It has a grate above the tray, both can slide out for easy cleaning.The only problem I had was in the shipping and I informed Amazon. The cage was shipped in the cage box, not packaged in another box. The cage box was beaten up badly and all the edge protectors were no longer in place. The tray was damaged by all this, thankfully nothing else. Amazon was unable to replace just the tray, but offered to replace the entire cage. But seeing how mine arrive and the other reviews saying damaged in shipping, I was not confident another cage would arrive in any better condition. So I contacted A & E cages directly to get a new pan; they are replacing it for free.So overall this is a great medium sized cage, but it is poorly packaged for shipping and may arrive damaged.
