Perfect Solutions PS6228BK Battery Operated Heated Scarf, Black

I am extremely disappointed with this heated scarf. I previously purchased one at hallmark and loved it. So much so when I visited my brother in Minnesota I gave him mine, (obviously the weather is worse there, than in Arkansas). This past soon to be winter season I went to hallmark to purchase myself another heated scarf and was amazed that the person that I asked about them stated they probably would not ever stock them again because they had sooooo many complaints. I thought wow these people didn't know a good thing when they had it. So I went to Amazon and purchased one (more expensive than what I had paid for at Hallmark), but I was determined to replace the one I had given away. Unfortunately I have had nothing but problems with this one....... The battery pack appears to work great until you plug the heating element into the battery pack. The powers light goes off once it has been turned on and the heating element doesn't ever heat up properly.... It gives you a false slight warm up and then pouf it cools down and doesn't work.............

I bought this for my wife to be kept in the car. She always needs a sweater when going into a restaurant . When she leaves her neck seems to tighten do to the cold. It has helped a little thus the three stars. It doesn't get warm enough to relax her but it does take some of the chill off.

The scarf itself is nice, soft, and has pockets. But the heating part of it isn't what I expected. It heats up but it's so subtle that you can't really tell if it's heated or not. I didn't notice it keep me any warmer than a regular scarf. This would be awesome if it just got a little hotter.

Works as expected. I am very cold natured. This does really help when I'm out and about on cold days or just sitting on the lanai on chilly days or nights. The battery lasts a constant 5-6 hours. So, I highly recommend rechargeable batteries.

Husband works outside alot and at night. He absolutely loves this item! It keeps his neck and shoulders warm and keeps his neck from stiffening up. Made of excellent quality and is exactly as described and an excellent price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My son works outside in this horrific 5 degree weather cutting down trees from the storms we have been having. He puts it on in the morning and by lunch he's pretty well heated. The best part of it was when he found out there were pockets, he went nuts; with all the equipment he needs to bring with him up 80 feet in the tree, he has no room for his snacks. His reaction was priceless!!

I foresee a practical product with this purchase for the winter time. Will be nice and warm. I like the fact that this product has hand pockets as well as the scarf itself.

The main problem with the scarf is that its to long and awkward. The heat on the neck is nice but wish the heat pad extended down over the collar bone. Stock up on rechargeable batteries.
