Carrera 20063032 FIRST PAW Patrol Race 'N' Rescue Slot Car Race Track Set

I am sure this is a good problem to have!! My 2 year old is in LOVE with Paw Patrol. We wanted to get him a toy that is 'interactive'. This does just that! The triggers are easy to hold for both a toddler and an adult. The controls are variable, meaning we can go fast or slow. I have had experience with other tracks and cars, and at full speed, the cars have a tendency to fall off the track - not with this track! At full speed, Chase and Marshall go round the track without falling off. Building the track is relativley easy, but do take note of the 'bridge', I found that Marshall's head can get caught. The bridge has to be placed in a very specific way for his head not to get caught. I wish Carrera made the bridge supports, just ever so slightly taller so this wouldn't have been an issue. Its easy for my 2 year old to start playing; just plug the triggers in and away we go, there is no on / off switch to be used. Before buying make sure you have C Batteries!! I assumed it would have been AA batteries as I have plenty on hand, but we had to make an emergancy trip to the supermarket to purchase C Batteries so we can have lots of fun!

I am really pleased with the purchase, everything seems very sturdy and well made, the cars are very detailed and robust and the track is long (longer than many of the other similar models) and everything is ready to use. My only annoyance is that Marshall's car is significantly faster than Chase's,, no matter which track you place it on. Not sure if this is intentional to ensure a winner or to reduce collisions, either way it's frustrating. But good thing is, you can buy additional cars, so we'll see if that helps, right now the kids aren't too bothered, so have left it as is, and everything else is so great that I've left it at 5 stars. You do have to keep doing a bit of maintenance on the wire bristles underneath the cars to ensure good contact with the track, but that's the case with all of these kind of tracks. I like that it is battery powered making it more portable, but also a little less powerful (perhaps) than the mains powered one, which helps keeps the cars on track around the bends, something that I was concerned about with the mains powered one, but thankfully isn't the case here. Overall, both I and the kids are very happy and I would highly recommend, just prepare yourself for a slower Chase.

I nearly didn't buy this due to the 1 star reviews but I'm glad I did. It's great fun for the kids, and while it's not a precision built product it works fine, just the same as the ones I used to play with when I was a kid. Yes you have to adjust the contacts every so often and adjust the track connectors a little but not too often. Its just the way these slot cars are, always have been. One car was not working but the seller very quickly replaced it for a good one.

Good fun to play with, the race track is made of plastic and connects together quite easily. You need 4 big sized batteries. Buying from Amazon was cheaper than buying from hamlyleys. To great value for money I think the game play can get a bit boring after 10-15mins..

Doesn’t work. Read the instructions whilst putting it together and watched videos online but no movement at all. I will be sending it back but very disappointed

I was disappointed to find that the box was ripped and damaged at one end as this is a Christmas gift for my grandson!

Es un excalectric a pilas básico y resistente, que funciona sorprendentemente bien para su sencillez, tiene unas dimensiones cómodas para ponerlo en una mesa y no tiene grandes complicaciones. Por otro lado, tampoco da mucho más de sí; al ser una pista en ocho, tipo cinta de moebius, un adulto se aburre pronto porque no hay manera de descarrilar los coches de la pista aunque cojas la curva a máxima velocidad, luego no hace falta destreza y basta con darle a tope todo el tiempo, pero para un niño pequeño es ideal porque no se le salen los coches y puede jugar indefinidamente... Una cosa por otra.
