I tested this last night and put 2/ 3rds boiling water in and a third cold water to emulate milk. Did it at 7PM and checked it at 4PM the next day and still hot. Not as hot but enough. I am super impressed. I only bought it because I need one for work due to health and safety. I wanted something I could make white coffee in ready to just pour out without the hassle of bringing in milk. Super impressed. Easy to use, leave arm pump efficient and easy to clean. Great product and great service. It arrived the next day. Definitely would reccomend it.

I bought this some months ago and I've given it time . It holds more hot water than my kettle can produce and it keeps that water hot overnight or most of the day, though I still need to give a cup of tea a minute in the microwave. Still. It's useful as anything. Very pleased with it.

I bought this for my elderly mum to use as she has dementia and was struggling to use the kettle etc and I asked her carers to fill it twice a day. Until you are used to the mechanism even for myself it was a bit confusing as the pumping handle lies flat and as you lift it away from the pot a small flap of plastic hinges down and slots into a groove, allowing the sea saw effect of the subsequent pump action. What I'm saying is the lever to pump the tea out isn't permanently up (as in the picture) so if you are buying this for folk with a disability affecting their hand use or, like my mum, dementia/ processing issue you need to take this into account. As we say in Scotland it's "footery". The carers have all reported that the tea is warm but not hot when they go in and this is only 5 hours apart, so it doesn't stay drinkable hot for long. Saying that maybe it's expected that you would fill it with black tea and coffee and add the milk after it's in the cup. I'm not sure, but I can say I've made hot milky tea in it and it's not hot all day. Cleaning is another difficult task. The entire lid doesn't come off just a circle in the middle of the lid. Maybe im just a bit of a clean freak but I worry about not being able to get into it all after it's had milk in it all day. Would I recommend this? It's unfair to say no because if I'd a business and was serving coffee at fast pace it would be ideal, it's large and hot on the spot. Just not a flask for use with the more vulnerable folk.

I bought this for my elderly mother to use during the night. She doesn't sleep too well and likes her cups of tea when she's up and about. For the last few years we've been getting her carer to fill a flask of boiling water for her to use during the night. Recently my mother has broken her wrist, which made using her large flask difficult (near impossible), and a small flask was the ideal size for her to use, but unfortunately after her first cup of tea the temperature dropped quickly on the remaining water in the flask which made the chances of her having water hot enough to make a brew a few hours later nigh on impossible. I ordered this Airpot so as she can operate it with her good hand and due to the efficiency of it she can have as many hot cups of tea as she wanted. Only downside I can see is that the capacity of this is much greater than is actually required, but on the plus side the hot water still left in it in the morning is used to wash the breakfast dishes, and even although the water has been in it for anything up to 14 hours the water is too hot and cold water needs added to it so as not to burn yourself. Her morning carer then fills the pot for her to use during the day. All in all, I wish I'd thought of this sooner, as although my mother is elderly she wants to be as independent as she can be, this helps a lot and eliminates any risk she may have using the kettle etc

I use this while I'm working from home as it saves time going to fill and boil the kettle all day. It's great, I don't even have to leave my desk! It works really well and keeps water boiling hot throughout my 8 and a half hour shift. The thermos is easy to carry and has neat handle for pouring which can to folded down for safety of use. I only fill it with hot water so not much cleaning is required. For its size and functionality I would say that this is good value for money. Would highly recommend!

Purchased in June 2020 to take to the office as our kitchen is closed due to covid. Excellent to begin, coffee was steaming hot and would return home from work at the end of a 9 hour day and the coffee would still be drinkable. Within a couple of months the coffee was only lukewarm after a couple of hours. I tried pre-heating before filling with coffee but this had no effect. Easy to use and holds a decent volume, so disappointed

Keeps liquids both hot and cold very well and is easy to use but after using it almost continuously for a month (up to 2 fills a day) the pump head broke (the plastic lever that applies pressure to the bellows snapped at the point just after the hand lever notch). Ordered a new one to replace it with a view to repairing the other one in time, but I would question the statement about durability in the Amazon page for the item.
