Danco 10983 Sinktacular, Kitchen Sink Strainer & Stopper, Prevent Clogs & Odors, Fill Sink & Protect Garbage Disposal

I brought about five different sink stoppers from different stores but everyone of them defaulted most of them sink in and and others were to small or didn't work but this one is perfect and amazing it fit perfectly and very easy to use all you have to do is twist and it turns from a strainer until a sink stopper and hold the water in for as long as you need it I'm thinking about ordering another one just to have in case anything happens or I lose it I love this item and and I recommend this product 100%

Finally, I’ve found a kitchen sink strainer/stopper that works! I enjoy washing dishes by hand but hate when the stopper shifts and water empties. It’s sturdy and unobtrusive and works perfectly. In the scheme of things, it may not seem important to most, but this small item has made me happy. It works.

I have two sinks, wish they were both the same size so I can order one stopper for both, but they aren't. This one works OK for the drainage side but was too small for the garbage disposal side. Also, over time it stops sealing well and suddenly my dish water just drains out. I don't see any damage so it must be the design. If you buy this, get a spare, it's less annoying that way. Also, one thing I didn't like is that it's really hard to tell if it's "open" or "closed" -- I have to preheat water and it's very annoying that my heated dish water runs out because I forgot to close the drain.

I bought this because the sink drainer/stoppers I had just did not hold water in the sink like needed to be done. I debated because of the cost but my aggravation was enough that I went ahead and bought it. This is the best purchase I've made in months! It holds water in the sink for washing dishes and then the drain lets the water out but catches debris so it can be put in the trash.When I first got it, it was very hard to turn to close and open the stopper. I used the dishcloth or sponge to grab the knob and turn it. Over time it has gotten somewhat looser and easier to do.I knock it against the side of the trash can to get debris to fall from the holes. It does have a tendency to hang on to debris but that's something I can live with more easily than I could live with a sink stopper that didn't keep the water in the sink.

Food gets stuck in the holes and causes it not to drain well

Simple but very effective.

Very hard to remove to clean it. If I had transportation without paying for that I would return it.

Arrived in perfect condition. Works exactly as I hoped for. Love it!
