Awesome Pump!
Great pump for my 72 Nova with a Lunati Drag Racing cam. I have about 3 inches of vacuum with my 350 which was not enough to supply vacuum for my power brakes. I installed this pump & a vacuum canister & now my brakes work so well that my car stops on a dime. It's a little loud, but not noticeable when the engine is running.

Good product
Made very well. Does it's job. Very noisy, but aren't they all. Installation was easy. Finding a good spot to mount, depending on the car, can be difficult though.Trunk is an option.

Altitude issues, didn't get to 20" of vacuum, maybe a very early failure.
The unit has some issues with altitude changes. It's a pretty large unit, and it's pretty noisy. I read 18" of vacuum maximum at 5,000 feet. The stock setting is only good up to about 4,000 feet maybe? At 5,000 feet, it runs constantly. I adjusted the allen screw so the unit would shut off, and added an extra 3/4 of a turn because I'd be crossing mountains and then drove to California from Denver. The pump ran non-stop above 8,000 feet. After it reached proper vacuum, it seemed to work a lot less hard and the tone of the pump changed, but it still kept running. The pump is also pretty loud. In the trunk area, I can still hear it loudly if I'm not at cruising speed. Mufflers don't seem to help. After the 1,500 mile drive, the pump no longer turns on. I'm going to try and adjust the screw again to see if it will start working, but it's a pretty big flaw in the design if that's what needs to happen, and a very disappointing failure from a very expensive unit if it doesn't start running again. I've checked the fuses to the unit and they're fine (fused in the panel and in line). The wiring harness in the car is all completely brand new and modern. I was stopping in to update the situation. I've been traveling so my project car hasn't been getting much attention. I have gotten it up and running again. The issue was related to a poor connection; however, the pump has failed again. This time it appears to be the vacuum switch which has failed after 1 year and only 2,000 miles. I'm going to work on it a bit more to see if playing with the adjustment screw helps again, but I'm skeptical. A new vacuum switch is listed on their website at $55 (they're a Canadian company so I'm not sure about shipping, etc).

Great Pump - Very quiet
High quality great pump. I was surprised at how large and heavy it was, not easy to find an out of the way mounting spot. Its very solid and operates very quietly and efficently. If your looking for a solid quiet pump this is it. If you looking for something small to tuck away unnoticed this may not be the best choice. It works great in my application - 70 Chevelle - I mounted up by the firewall on the inner fender.

Well built and quiet
Works well and it's quiet. The answer to my low vacuum big cam and power brakes.

Noisy but functional
Very Noisy! After installing, I had hoped it wouldn't be too bad and because I have a normally loud system, you can't hear it much but its still noisy.

Great Product
Works as it should. Very pleased with the results. I now have power brakes all the time especially at low speeds.

The pump appears very well built and I believe made in Canada. Dimensions are more compact than shown on Amazon. I was only getting 11 inches of vacuum at idle due to a high lift cam, but the pump produces 21 inches and definitely improves braking. I found a convenient place to mount the unit in the engine compartment and it does not look out of place. I can not hear it operating with the engine running and it only draws 6 amps

An obviously very well made product. Looking forward to installing it. Nice installation components included. I like the fact that its has integrated pressure switch.
