Great, functional, & very safe!
This was our 2nd order of the Self-Closing Outlet Covers. My wife and I are beginning to child-proof our house so I've been proactively buying various child-proofing items and testing them out.I had previously purchased several Self-Closing Outlet Covers to install in our living room. They are very easy to install, look stylish compared to most other outlet covers we've seen, and are barely even noticeable as a child-proof product unless you look close. I've heard so many bad stories about the plastic prong inserts being bad as children can easily rip them out of the socket and try to swallow them so parents not only have an electrocution issue, but now a choking hazard as well. These Self-Closing Outlet Covers passed our test so I bought more in order to replace all outlet covers (within a child's reach) with these ones. They are a great fit for our home and work perfectly to keep our baby safe. Thanks!

Excellent safety covers!
Bought these to make our outlets a little safer when our 8-month old boy is on the prowl. He’s super active (crawls, stands, pushes our mini ottomans around) and has occasionally taken an interest in our outlets if there’s nothing bigger around to distract him.The covers install quickly and easily (single screw).More screws were provided than necessary, which I liked (6 screws for 3 covers). The auto-closing mechanism is very firm and should frustrate little fingers. They secure to the outlets / boxes easily and firmly but if, like me, you have wonky or slightly loose outlets, these won’t fix that (they’re just outlet covers). With that in mind: don’t be tempted to over-tighten the screws, as the plastic may crack. The plastic itself is thicker than that present in the covers being replaced. It also sticks out slightly further, to accommodate the closing mechanisms. Aesthetically, I think they look great.Once installed, inserting plugs is straightforward. Unplugging results in the covers closing almost instantly. Nice!No qualms about recommending these and will likely be purchasing more.

Much better than other brands I tried
I previously tried a different brand purchased at a baby specialty store. I was not happy with the quality of that other product or it’s fit on the wall. I then went to Amazon to see about getting a better product and this one clearly fits the bill. It’s construction appears to be very high-quality, it installs easily and fits both the outlet and the wall very well. It’s finished look including it's provided screws is very good. As a plus, they also provide more screws, required presumably in case one is lost or somehow damaged. I purchased some of their outlet covers on a trial basis and I was so pleased that I purchased several more packs.

Good so far (9 month old)
My pediatrician gave great advice on child proofing (as it can be overwhelming):Know your child and keep in mind what they like to do. Not every child is the same. Some like buttons, some like to pick at things, some like pullings at things, etc. Try to find something that works for your child. These were inexpensive, easy to install, and fit our outlets. I would agree that I've had plugs slip out of the socket, but only ones that move when I use them (vacuum cleaning, breast pump, cell phone charger, etc.) The plugs do stay in place for permeant plugs that stay in the wall and do not move (T.V, extension cords).Tips:-Once installed, check that the outlet slides over AND SLIDES BACK. If you slide the outlet piece over and it gets stuck EXPOSING THE OUTLET, then you have tightened the screw on the outlet too much. Loosen the outlet screw.-If the entire outlet can move side to side once you have installed check that the actual metal outlet in your wall is screwed in fully. I had to tighten some of the actual outlets into the wall further, then install these outlets to have the perfect fit.Overall, I have been pleased with these for the past 3 months. My child is 9 months old and already touches the outlets, but so far safely thanks to these.

Great product, amazing customer service!
These are excellent covers. They are sturdy, well made and will do great service in areas needed. They make it easy to use an outlet when needed and also safe for both living creatures, such as infants, toddlers, cats, dogs, etc, and also to prevent incursion from things like water splashes, etc.We actually had an issue after ordering these which was entirely my own doing, I didn't look at the outlet I was covering before getting these, and it is an incompatible type outlet. The vendor had sent me an email just making sure I received them, and I mentioned I had and was happy though unfortunately they wouldn't work for my very specific application. The vendor, Safety Baby, absolutely went above and beyond in taking care of my issue, which again, was my own creation.

Great product. Everyone should have them in their homes.
These outlet covers are a life saver. My child tries to put everything in a light socket my gosh it's exhausting. I was trying everything and finally decided to look here on amazon for something I could use. I found these and a cord cover as well. I think both are really great and very helpful. When you have a 1 year old and a 3 year old nothing is safe... my 1 year old loves to play with cords and basically nothing stops him. There isn't anything I wouldn't try to keep my little ones safe. You just never know. We all try to be the best parents possible but I truly feel like these outlet covers should be standard in all homes. We never know what is going to happen. I was at a church function one time it was in a room with several other people there was a little boy 1-2 years old walking around with his mother's keys. We bowed our heads to prey and I happened to peek my eye open at the little boy who was trying to get his mother's car key into the light socket. I screamed like crazy "grab that baby" everyone turned around and basically lunged towards him. I think about Jim all the time and what if I didn't peel my eye open? What would have happened? All I know is of they had these outlet covers on there that would have never happened.
