We use this in our shrimp and crawfish boils, love it!

Used this on a made up seafood boil as I didn’t have any crawfish, flavor was fantastic but I also paired it with another seafood boil spice mix, but it’s still worth it for the spiciness !

I was raised in New Orleans and zatarains crab boil is the Gold Standard. It adds a bit of spice and wonderful taste. If you're not accustomed to spicy food, just go slowly and gradually increase the amount you use. Also, the longer you let the seafood sit in the crab boil water, the spicier it gets. Absolutely wonderful taste and it blows away all other brands of crab boil. Is used for shrimp, crabs, and crawfish. You will love it but make sure you add salt and leave it in the spicy water until you like the taste.

A New Orleans expat living in Hawaii, I found it difficult to get many of the "authentic" ingredients for making my Cajun/Creaole favorites. Use it in seafood boils (we get shrimp and you can use with Alaskan crab legs obtainable here), red beans (a capful provides a delicious heat), gumbo, and others. We use the liquid boil with Zatarain's dry seafood boil packets to get that authentic N'Awlins flavor. For gumbos and soups, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon will definitely up your game.

We bought this Louisiana brand and also Zatarain's for a Crawfish Boil. We had a taste test before we put either into the pot. We all agreed this Louisiana brand was the winner. The Zatarain's was vile and we threw it out. We used both the Louisiana liquid boil and the dry spice mix from Louisiana brand and had super results! Highly recommend this brand for more complex spice flavors!!!
