Great scanner did what I wanted to do,it was a bit slow but that could be because it was working on an old vw polo 6n2,it might be faster on newer cars

A great code reader at a budget price. Most hand helds won't read ABS or airbag codes, this one does. Arrived today, used straight out of box, no batteries needed (powered by car when plugged-in) and very simple on-screen menu. Right rear wheel sensor fault identified as causing the ABS/TRK dashboard warning lights with minutes of receiving the code reader. Wish I had one of these years ago. Recommended.

Product is easy to use . However there are a few things people should know . When you get it you need to update the software . You do this by going to the Ancel site and downloading the file . However you need win zip a decompression tool to open the file . They don’t tell you that When I got it 2 of the functions did not work. They corrected one with a new file . However I have a virus checker which stopped me opening the file . I had to check this out to make sure it had not got infected . It had not . The second fix one Iam still waiting for the fix. Overall service is quick and they appear to be very helpful . The device works well and did highlight a couple of engine fault codes . It clears them down too . Easy to use

It does what it says on the tin. We needed it for the epb followed the instructions on screen and it worked a treat managed to sort everything out and saved us a huge amount of money. It connected to the car within seconds. Great piece of kit for any DIY home mechanics

Got for 2007 Audi TT And needed to identify ABS and ESP light being on. Absolutely brilliant tool. Identified the specific wheel sensor that I needed. Right rear wheel sensor. Changed sensor and cleared code. All sorted. Also cleared some old codes in evap system that I'd had in the past. Worth its money in my eyes. Best tool in my box by far.

I have a recurring air bag light fault, costing me money to extinguish each time it comes on, but every time it's a different code and no fault can ever be found in the indicated component, or any of its' wiring. This diagnostic tool does exactly what I've been paying the specialists to do. It tells me what the fault is, in plain English and allows me to reset the light, with no need to visit the dealer. It also interrogates all the other systems on the car, informing me about other faults that I'd otherwise miss, resets the service indicator and a whole host of other things I haven't had a chance to explore yet. An absolute bargain at the price of a couple of visits to the specialist. Every owner of a VAG vehicle should own one, if they plan to do any work themselves.

Have used this twice now on my Skoda, on each occasion directed me to the area of the problem. With this information I can decide if the repair is something I can do myself or a garage job.

the 3 stares is mainly aimed at Amazon as when I placed the order I also joined Prime thinking it would arrive the next day but no. At the same time there was a sale on and this item had 20% off but, after realising the item wouldn't be coming early as I wanted it to (I was going away in my car and wanted a job doing before I went using this item), I cancelled my original order and replaced the order for the same item only to find that the 20% discounted sale had no ended so ended up paying the full price. With regards to the item itself. It appears to be a decent device although the menu system isn't very intuitive and the instructions are pretty basic but the company do say to contact them if you need assistance so ... I did that and, well, they never got back to me on the matter but I did actually find what I was looking for eventually by just trying different branches of the menu systems.

Ik kan nergens het verschil tussen vd700 of de pro versie vinden. Pro staat ook niet op het apparaat. Verder kan ik zeggen dat het een degelijk, gebruiksvriendelijk en veelzijdig diagnose apparaat is. Ben er blij mee.

Devant le nombre de produits, il est bien difficile de faire un choix. Je me décide à faire un effort financier pour ce produit car il prétend se spécialiser VAG et relever tout les modules des voitures. Pour le diagnostique de base, c'est assez simple, connexion facile sur la voiture et avec le mobile. Exécution rapport. Aucun soucis. Diag avancé plus long mais aussi simple. Et... c'est à peu près tout. Il semble bien y avoir plus de modules que dans un produit basique, mais clairement pas tous: toit ouvrant, boîte dsg, suspension pilotée, etc... Le rapport étendu me renvoi 10 à 20 codes erreur. Et c'est tout. Pour savoir à quoi cela correspond, on clique dessus et... une recherche google est lancée. C'est au mieux assez technique, donc pas toujours compréhensible pour un profane. Diagnostique démarrage / batterie. Ok mais aucun résultat lisible. Il faut chercher la grille de lecture de lecture et faire soi même le diag, si on comprend ce qu'il faut voir et évaluer... Il y a d'autre fonctions / diag mais j'ai pas réussi à comprendre comment les lancer. Pourtant l'appli est simple mais il y a des conditions ici ou là pour que ça se lance. Il faut juste les deviner... Après plusieurs essais, j'ai abandonné. Bref, en l'état je suis déçu d'avoir payé 3 à 5x plus qu'un produit de base. Mais je ressaierais d'en tirer plus.
