First of all this soap. WORKS. I was terrified to use it at first even though the reviews were mostly positive there were a few negative ones which put me off a little.I would recommend doing some research on the product and making sure you find out what your skin type is before you use this, as I believe it will affect certain skin types in different ways.I suffer from hyperpigmentation and quite bad acne. My cheeks are covered in acne scars and my forehead is darker in the centre and lighter around the edges, things got so bad that my nose became lumpy, scarred and weepy with the constant cystic pimples that kept coming out of nowhere. The same goes for my face, forehead and chin so i snapped and decided to try this out.I cut 1/5th of the bar and applied it for no more than 60 seconds just in case i had a bad reaction to the soap. the initial result was brighter tighter and impossibly smooth skin, the inflamed areas were soothed, the pimples were reduced somewhat in size and in general my whole face was calmed, it is a very drying soap so i followed this by using a little natural unrefined shea butter (you can buy this on Amazon too)I continued for the next two weeks twice a day for 60 seconds morning and night and each time i would see more improvements in my complexion, the following two weeks after that my skin is now used to the soap and i gradually increased the time i left the soap on my face, two minutes, three minutes, ect however at the moment i am only able to leave it on for 5 minutes.Like all the other reviews say it is wise to use a high SPF if you are using this soap especially if you are in a sunny climate, if you are having skin problems and do not know what else to do I highly recommend this soap, having spent a ton of money on expensive designer skin exfoliators, cleansers, toners. None of them come close to Kojie San, who have actually fixed the problem.Lastly i would not say this is a skin lightening soap as this is not my goal, it has a brightening effect and fades dark spots and helps restore your natural skin tone as well as preventing bad outbreaks of acne. However I will report back in a few months if i do notice any skin lightening effects. At the moment i am overjoyed with being able to see my natural clear skin for the first time in years. Thank you Kojie San. xxxxx.UPDATE: I now only need use this soap occasionally - if I'm ever having a truly bad skin day, it's not suited to everyone but initial regular use fixed the pimples and severe discolouration. I am confident to leave the house without makeup on now. clearer, smoother and even toned skin is the result and I no longer need it daily. Once a month at most? I haven't observed any skin lightening effects so if you're looking for that you may well be disappointed. Overall. Fantastic product. No more volcano skin 😂

Seeing a marked change on blemishes but i just worry about how it leaves my face super dry.

I have bought this multiple times now. It works very well for my skin. The price could be lower though.

Its a really good face soap but it does not lighten your skin and i had been using it everyday for 5 months. I am black with a light-medium skin tone but i had some hyperpigmentation on the sides of my face so i wanted to even out my skin. The soap is really good for exfoliating your face and smells amazing but it really doesn't lighten your skin. If you want to lighten your skin i suggest you use it with a lightening cream or something because it just didn't do anything but give me a nice cleansed face.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and here is my review. (Keep in mind I have pale ivory skin.) It does WONDERS for rough/bumpy KP prone skin. I’ve been using it every single day for 2 weeks on my whole body and I leave it on for 3 minutes (remember to never wash it off straight away! Leave it on for 3-5 minutes for best results.) It makes your skin feel like a baby’s booty. Like seriously, it makes your skin feel like marshmallows. What I’m tryna say is, it makes your skin hella soft. Now let’s talk about the skin lightening part as that’s what most people buy the product for. The skin lightening comes AFTER the acne improvement. But even if you don’t have body/face acne, it will take 4-5 weeks of consistent use to see major results in your skin tone. Just don’t hyperfixate on it, because there’s additional things you should be doing to speed up the process. Like taking vitamin C tablets/supplements, using glycolic acid 7% for hyperpigmentation areas like knees, elbows and armpits. And for the love of god MOISTURISE!!!! As soon as you get out the shower, apply your moisturiser onto your wet skin. Don’t rub your skin with a dirty ass towel, let your skin air dry. Your just gonna have to stand naked for 10 minutes but that’s okay beauty is pain ♥️ Have I seen improvements in my overall skin tone? Oh, yes I have. If you have temporary dullness from things like smoking, processed foods, staying out in the sun too long etc, then you’ll come back to your natural skin tone in 1-2 weeks. For deeper melanin production issues, kojic acid does help that but you have to be really patient. Giving yourself 3-4 months of consistent use + taking vitamin C is realistic. Not expecting a whole different skin tone within 1 week. And I know everybody hates this part but, SUN PROTECTION!! I don’t mean just sunscreen, honestly I barely wear it because I live in a very dull, rainy and cold country but if you live in a hotter country, sun protection is a must. I suggest not leaving the house if the sun is unbearably hot unless your ready to reapply your sunscreen every 1-2 hours which is a waste of money. Speaking of sunscreens and its cost, I suggest buying cheaper sunscreens for the body. You do not need to spend millions on sunscreens. As long as it gives you 50+ spf and its fragrance free then your good to go. For the face, I do suggest splurging a bit to find a good sunscreen for your skin type. Also, this product is authentic. There’s hundreds and hundreds of fakes out there so just reassuring yall that this one is real and authentic. But yeah that’s my review, again I’m only on week two but I’ve done a lot of research on the product and it’s honestly really trustworthy.

Never usually have any problem with this soap. This is a bad batch. Left my skin darker and with scabs all over my body neck down to my feet.
