took a gamble that used (seller Amazon) was really like new/refunded one. it was. jackpot. works way better than passive box, solved hum issues. volumes a lil on low side but cranked up its normal. i guess thats a good thing, let my fader do the work :)

The first one I received had a defective AC adapter. It would cause the circuit breaker to trip no matter what outlet I used, even into a surge protector. Luckily it was replaced no hassle and the replacement works well.

I give it 5 stars as it does what is stated very well. It is strangely expensive and I'll chalk that up to paying for convenience. If you have the time ( which I didn't) and are so inclined, you can make one without a lot of fuss.
