Busch oil is worth the extra money.
After nearly 39yrs of Busch oil, I thought I'd try a cheaper brand, but the Busch brand vacuum pump oil actually does make my pump pull stronger. I have a 28 yr old pump. I use to run it every day, but now I don't use it very much. So I thought I go with an off-brand and the pump did not pull nearly as well. I thought maybe it had finally worn out, but after I changed back to Busch oil - the pump worked great again. I never thought it would make a difference, but the OEM Buch oil does make a difference.
