This stool is so sturdy and so easy to put together, you can try to move it and it does no budge, I love it, the seat will turn any direction you want to go, it is very nice .

Despite from China, very high quality and stable. Love the wide height adjustability and swiveling base. And best of all, easy clear assembly instructions no tools required and excellent constuction and materials. We had one just like it for many years (without swiveling seat) and used it with granfather for about 5 years every day and eventually the metal inside the feet wore through - but replacing them with champaigne corks worked perfectly. I think this one had somewaht rounded off bottoms to the legs that go insude the feet and probably won't have that problem. Used this fow a couplf of weeeks following a major spine surgery and it was simply perfect.

I needed a shower chair due to a fractured foot. This smaller stool with the swivel seat is so helpful! It was easy to put together and is very sturdy.

It’s very nice and comfortable

I fell down a flight of stairs and fractured my fibula--the non-weight bearing bone in my lower leg. So I was on crutches with an orthotic boot for 3 weeks, followed by a month in the boot, which went knee to ankle. While I was on crutches, I had to be satisfied with washcloth baths. I was allowed to take off the boot after I got off the crutches, but only at night and for bathing. Needless to say, my leg was not very stable on its own. So I bought the stool so I could safely have a proper shower. I'm currently in physical therapy, focusing on strength and stability, but I still use the stool when I need it. Just one precaution: DON'T sit on it if the seat is soapy or your backside is soapy! I almost slid off of it the other day. It is otherwise perfect for me. I weigh 205lbs, and it supports me without any instability. The seat is wide enough, and it revolves so I can get in and out of the shower safely. It fits in my tub. It was a piece of cake to put together--no tools required! The height is easily adjusted, and has a wide range.

This rotating seat shower stool is definitely a plus in a small shower stall. Just the round shape is helpful. I had one before and liked it very much. But the added rotation of the seat is extremely comfortable and useful. It does have a slight padding that also adds more security because it’s not slippery. Being able to turn without standing I’m able to reach for shampoo or body wash on both shelves in my shower safely. It states it will support up to 250 lbs but I’m not sure that makes much difference in your decision on purchasing this shower stool, if your unsteady I would stick with a smaller chair with a back or arm support. It’s exactly what I need but take all your own limitations in considering how safe it would be for you!
