Q: Do you use this before the swim or after?

After the swim on wet hair and then comb through. It acts like a leave in conditioner but helps to remove the chlorine which can still be on the hair even after shampooing. Only need as much as you would use for a conditioner, too much can make the hair greasy. I love it for my kids. Hope this helps.
