My friend was about to buy tuners for a Yamaha acoustic, he said 'big box' store "GC" had what he needed for around $75. I told him DO NOT BUY, I wanted to help him out. I ordered these Wilkinson acoustic 3 x 3 tuners to replace his worn out Yamaha tuners. I received the Wilkinson tuners in a few days, actually... 10 days. But there wasn't any rush on our part.New tuners arrived, and fit perfectly. I suggest you should measure the hole size (of the head stock) where your tuners will go. Mine were 11mm... I think? Can't be certain, because it was a month ago, and I have been drinking a lot of beer for the past 4 hours. High quality replacement tuners for Chibson Customguitars.

Please note that I have bought these before, and they were excellent in every way, both in appearance and function. These arrived with a major cosmetic flaw. All tuners of this type come with a little disk of clear plastic film on the back. On the set I received, where this film had drawn back the metal exposed to air was tarnished so that the gold plating was all brown and blotchy. I have included photos of the tuners I just received and the same model tuners I received about 4 years ago from Wilkinson. Those old tuners have a "W" stamped into this piece of metal, and they looked great new and still look great now. I can only assume that these are being made in a different factory or that some cost-cutting measures have been taken by Wilkinson. If so, it was a bad move. I polished the tarnished metal with some Flitz metal polish, and it came out clean and shiny. Whether it is going to stay that way or not, I cannot say.I'm still giving this 4 Stars because the tuners themselves are great at this price point. They have a high gear ratio so that fine adjustments in tuning are possible. They stay in tune and work very smoothly without a lot of play. It seems to me that other tuners at this same price or less have been quite poor and unacceptable. To get other tuners of equal or better quality, you may have to pay almost twice as much or more. Therefore, I would still recommend them and would buy them again despite the tarnishing.I contacted the seller, Kaish Music, and after a delay they responded and went out of their way to try to make things right. I had returned the tuners to Amazon, but Kaish Music mailed me a complete new set of tuners at no charge. Unfortunately, the replacement set of tuners had the same problem. I can't fault the seller because they can only sell what the factory sends them.My guess is that this is an unforeseen manufacturing problem that doesn't show up on the factory floor at QC checks, and I am guessing that Wilkinson will get onto this and correct the problem because they have a pretty good reputation for selling quality parts at a reasonable price.

Replaced the tuners on my Gretsch Ranchero White Falcon with these. The old ones don't even compare to these. Beautiful gold finish, 19:1, precision tuning keys that stay in tune. Great price too!

I changed out the tuning pegs on my Yamaha and these look great and work perfectly.

The price is good. These are not great quality. I build guitars as a hobby. I can't afford high priced tuners ever time I build one. I have used several sets of these. One problem is the round plate on the back tends to fall out on some if them. I run super glue around the joint and it helps recent it. But they work.

Used these to replace a stock set of Takamine tuners where the rubber adjustment knobs broke off. These are very similar in feel and shape to Grovers and feel just as sturdy. Highly recommended.

I had to get these "roto" style tuners to replace my old ones as these have a single central screw hole to mate up with the existing screw hole that my old tuners had. Super happy with these and from my limited knowledge of guitars, these feel premium and well built. Happy with my purchase
