I decided to give this a whirl following research on the best beard oils out there. I have a decent size beard which requires tender loving care which Underdog smoke spice bourbon beard oil ticks all the right boxes for me.I have found that i only required 5-6 drops for my beard which is 6 months of growth but it all depends on your own preference/beard length/thickness etc. Plus if you love the smell!!The smell of the oil is probably the nicest i have come across, i love the smokey, woody, spice smell which makes me feel like chopping wood and catching Salmon from a grizzly bear jaws. The wife loves the smell too which is an added bonus.No irritation when using the oil so perfect for me. My skin agrees with this.At least you know you are buying a quality beard oil with well thought out ingredients, the balance is perfect. Overall i think the oil is good value, there are a lot of more expensive brands out there. 30ml is okay but would prefer a larger bottle as a bit addictive! Great to see a dropper with the bottle as this is helpful in measuring out what i need.If there was a shower gel with these ingredients i would love it..I will certainly buy another bottle of this beard oil...Try it guys your beard and skin will truly benefit

Had a beard a few times and always ended up shaving it because I had trouble with dry skin, thought I’d try a beard oil and liked the sound of the bourbon one. First off, smells great, a classy smell not like cheap spices and not off putting as you’ll be smelling it most of the day. My wife said it reminded her slightly of fireball sweets. Anyway, since using it, beard has been shinier, softer and not as scraggly. Best point for me, my chin no longer dries out and have zero dandruff now from using only once a day at the moment.So impressed I bought my friend one, and another scent to give me some choice. The last one received was slightly damaged,though not the sellers fault. Responded within an hour and is sorting my issue. So on scent, longevity, benefits, value for money and customer service, 5 stars across the board and well worth taking the time to review so that other people might benefit.

The initial scent is noticeable but then soon fades. As an oil it leaves the beard amazingly soft with a radiant, conditioned glow. It’s certainly in a different league to more commercially available off the shelf products. Not at all greasy and I find 5-6 drops to a freshly washed beard to be the ideal measure.I’ll happily try the alternative scents in the range for comparison.

In the past i've always used some tiny cheap beard oils or ones i've got from those xmas gift boxes; I never noticed a huge difference in quality as my beard was never long enough to really appreciate the full benefits of a good beard oil.After all this isolation lockdown business for the past few months, i decided it was best time as ever to grow it out and treat myself to a good quality beard oil. After i spent some time doing some research and even watched some review videos i ended up going with my gut and picked out this one due to the ratings on here... and bruh am i glad i did.It's a damn strong smell at first, but it quickly grows on you. It's got like a smokey, spicy, church insence with a whiskey and a cigarettes kinda vibe which i dig and definitely lasts most the day, but i always end up putting more on because i'm addicted to that sweet aroma. During early growth it sooths any itchiness and beard genuinly feels super soft and silky smooth. It's a good consistency of not too watery and not too thick but a couple of drops will always go a long way, also a big fan of the easy dropper application which not all oils have.Would recommend to all beard bros and i can see myself buying this again in the future.

For a beard oil it is excelent in my opinion and I have had no problems with the product. The smell is brilliant as for me there is a cinnamon scent with a light smell of vanilla but for me it calms quite quickly so is not too overbearing. My ex girlfriend (hates beards, awful person I know) gave me a hug last week and noticed the scent straight away and loves it. To put it context, this was over 10 hours after being applied and she noticed it, so yeah its really good. She also noticed my beard feels a lot softer and I do agree. I was using L'oreal expert beard oil before this one and I found at night I was itching my beard a lot more frequentlyuntil I switched to Underdog. With this one that has not been the case.I have just ordered El Presidente from the same company to try that one out as well, hopefully it will be as good as Underdog which I will be buying again when this bottle has finished which will be a while, as there is still over half a bottle left and I have been using it daily for over 3 weeks at 6 to 7 drops once a day.

Great smell, but I’ve gone back to another brand as I found this dried my beard up too quickly compared with others. It may well work for you, but not for me.

I'll describe the scent since it's the main reason people would be interested in this oil.It smells like a mixed pine and oak forest; the type with pine needles turning to mulch underfoot with a hint of rain on the pine above. There's an earthy, dirt hint undertone and this makes it smell almost exactly like an ancient Scandinavian forest, only a lot stronger.If I had to guess I would say that this effect is achieved by using bergamot but also lavender. I cannot be certain about this but I can say that this oil is the best smelling I have ever had, and would be better suited to the kind of gentleman with a "Nordic beard" mindset.The oil feels really good in the beard and the bottle is also really attractive. I would say that this beard oil is better for home use or a date, and not necessarily intended for a job interview as it is among the most casual of scents.

Cannot vouch for any of the benefits claimed for this product but it smells great. Will be sorry when the bottle runs out, but unlikely to reorder. May be on a Christmas gift list ?
