The book is well written and has some good advice. However
The book is well written and has some good advice. However, it is really skewed toward elementary teaching. As a Secondary Ed student teacher, I was a bit disappointed. Much of what they discuss isn't really feasible for a 50 minute class -- at least not daily as recommended -- or is intended for younger students. It sometimes feels like the secondary elements are merely skimmed over.

Much needed text
This is a well used textbook in my University course. Students received a great deal from this text to utilize information in their future classes.

book was fine but content not worth the money
Typical, classic Marzano book. Honestly the handbook was not necessary to pair with the book. the content was fine but honestly not worth the money.
