Jacques Herbin13007T - 30ml Bottle of ink for Fountain Pens and Rollerball Pens - Vert de gris

This is currently my favorite red ink. And I'm kind of into reds, so that's saying something. It is deep, rich, and luxurious, without being flashy or opulent. This gem of an ink has subtle undertones of adventure, but remains composed and elegant in every situation. Slightly dry to the paper, but have never had a problem start.

I have written with two Montlbanc 146 fountain pens for decades. And both of them leaked for decades. They would be repaired, and then be fine for a few years before leaking again. I mainly used Waterman and Diamine inks. Then I switched to Herbin Bleu Des Profondeurs. No more leaks!! This is a watery ink, but surprisingly deeply pigmented. I think the watery nature of the ink makes it less likely to leak in my Montblancs. There is a slight reddish sheen on Tomoe River paper, and no shading. The blue is so dark it almost black. I also have a Sailor pen that slightly leaks with Diamine ink, but not with Herbin inks.

My favorite dark blue ink stays in a pelikan m805 stresemann pen (fine nib).The blue is very dark but still looks blue.This ink works great in the m805 which needs a wet ink to write it's best.I tried many blue inks before finding this one. I'm done looking for now.Don't buy this one if you want water resistance.

Pretty coral color, sometimes seems like the flow is a little dry. Not much shading. Pretty bottle.

Herbin ink is excellent. Color is beautiful. Shipment was prompt and well packaged, arrived right on time.

This is truly a garnet red color--very deep, almost shading to brown. There's no blue tone to this one at all. A perfect winter color. Just like the stone. Exquisite depth and saturation.

This ink is well balanced, not too wet or dry. It's not waterproof but is fairly water resistant. Beautiful deep blue color.

It may not be as long lasting as some but it's easier to flush. The colors are always pleasing and the flow is excellent.

Essa tinta é famosa pela qualidade e tem cores lindas. Muito recomendada.

Les encres Herbin sont peu connues du grand public et c’est bien dommage, les couleurs et la tenue sur le papier valent bien d’autres marques.

This is a lovely vivid teal ink, it dries very quickly and has some shading, no sheen or shimmer. Medium flow, not too dry or too wet. A really good ink for the price.

I haven’t used Jaques Herbin inks previously, but was looking for a nice rich dark blue. This one is lovely, but you have to be careful not to use it on cheap paper as it may show through. I really like it.

Colorazione eccellente, intensa e mediamente coprente. Ottima fluidità, forse anche leggermente eccessiva per chi utilizza pennini con tratti medio-larghi. Asciugatura rapida. buonissima resistenza all'acqua.
