The 2315539 Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor was exactly what I needed! It fit perfectly in my fridge, and it works like a charm. I thought I took pictures but can't find them now. And of course it's installed, so can't see it now. Doesn't really matter, it looks like it does in the item photos. The point is that it works like a champ! Found a couple of online tutorials on how to install this make/model, they were slightly different but close enough, it wasn't hard. And now my fridge is working again, huzzah! Cold food is good. Zero complaints, great device, been running for almost exactly 2.5 months without a problem, it's even significantly quieter. In fact, the knocking sounds that I assumed were the compressor are gone too. Maybe when the last one died it started putting pressure/strain on the compressor? I know it was completely thick with ice behind the cover. I had to let it defrost. Gonna guess that with the fan that circulates air broken it couldn't dissipate the cold and that's why it iced up and that did cause issues with the compressor. At any rate, this thing worked like a champ and it's all good now. 5/5

The refrigerator fan was making a loud noise and this fixed it. The fan in my fridge failed randomly and this did the trick. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. Quality is just like OEM and the best part is it was cheap.

Installing was easy if you are the DIY type. It’s not an OEM part. Fan is just a bit louder than the OEM original, saying that - this is our garage refrigerator (purchased new, 11 yrs old) so the sound is not an issue. Symptoms before replacement - freezer good, refrigerator slightly cool nothing cold. Tip, take the time to defrost any built up of ice and make sure the vents are clear of ice before you put the freezer back together.Within 3 hours, refrigerator was cold and unit was back to norm.So far - very happy with replacement - cost good, voltage check, through fan motor good, easy installation, did what was expected good.

Freezer was working but refrigerator was not. Replaced this motor to fix problem.

This was a perfect fit, easy to install, and fixed my warm refrigerator and frosty freezer. Saved a ton of money from the OEM replacement. Very pleased. We did have to bend the connector for the ground wire so we could put the ground wire back on but it was easy with a pair of pliers. Installation took maybe 30 minutes. With next day delivery our refrigerator was back in perfect working order. And since I checked everything else on the fridge, I did get the coils cleaned as well as the back of the fridge and floor underneath. It is working so well now I had to turn the temp up in the fridge as things were getting icy. My 23 year old son did most of the installation, but his 57 year old Mom (me) helped. : ) We installed it about a week or two ago and it's still working great.

I thought I had to buy a new fridge turns out my fan burned out. Bought this one now both freezer and the fridge work like new. Installation is not hard at all. 10/10

I am like most people. I often discount the comments from the bottom 5% of the ratings. This is one of those situations where I should have believed the comments. After installing this part, it functioned as expected but a tad noisy...for about 2 days. At best guess, given the grinding sound it made, it had bad bearings. Either way, it was obvious that the manufacturer used substandard material and this part was doomed to die. I promptly ordered the official OEM part from a parts distributor, which took a week to arrive. As that week progressed, the bearings (I presume) from this product got worse and the fan got progressively less efficient. As soon as the OEM part arrived, I installed it, and wow, what a difference. So far, it has been completely flawless. Although it is painful to say this -- because most often it is not true -- but if you can hold out for the 1-to-2 week lag in delivery, an OEM part may be the best choice.
