Dieses Bay Rum Rasierwasser/Body Splash ist mein persönlicher Preisleistungssieger. Es hat alles was man grundsätzlich von einem Bay Rum erwartet. Und nein, es ist kein reiner Bay Rum Duft. Es hat auch noch Gewürzkomponenten, wie Zimt. Aber das finde ich nicht schlimm. Ich nutze es als Alltagsrasierwasser. Vorher hatte ich immer das klassische Old Spice in verwendung. Von daherist mir das nicht unangenehm. Jedoch ist diese Rasierwasser noch etwas runder und wärmer; einfach würziger. Brennen tut es auch nicht übermäßig. Klar sind teurere Bay Rums, wie z.B. das von D.R. Harris, komplexer und wertiger. Die kosten aber auch deutlich mehr. Es ist also sein Geld wert und mit Nichten billig!

Este es de los mejores Bay Rum del mercado a menor precio que otras marcas muy costosas, con aroma potente a clavo y especias, no es para nada aroma débil como otras marcas. Es muy buena calidad Pinaud. Igual se puede combinar con un poco de otros de Pinaud como Citrus Musk, Lime Sec, y unos pocos de cristales de mentol le dan más frescor. Es bastante versátil.

Reminds me of the time I spent in Cuba with Hemingway. We smoked cigars drank rum and fished the ocean day and night. I remember after being at sea for a month. We arrived at port to unload our spoils of the sea. I was approached by a young Cuban man. He told me if I gave him one of my prized Swordfish, he would trade me a bottle of aftershave. He went on to tell me that it was a special aftershave only for those of power especially a Favorite of a young Fidel Castro. Legend has it that any man that used this aftershave would be blessed with the affections of young women. Of course, I believed this young man I made the trade. To my dismay I tried the cologne after a hot shave my face felt like it had been dipped in molten lava. Soon after I felt like a cool ocean breeze on my face. I began to smell like spiced rum with notes of Tobacco and exotic spices. True to the young man's word after leaving my home to shop at a local market in Havana I was swarmed by 100 women. They began smelling me and trying to rip my shirt off just for the intoxicating scent. This caused a rift between me and Hemingway he wanted to know my secret to attracting the exotic island ladies. I never told him about my aftershave, but I am sure he had his suspicions. Some say the aftershave was a curse. I later contracted a rare case of Syphilis from all the young women I had the pleasure of meeting. I soon returned home to Canada I decided to leave my aftershave to Hemingway shortly after that well sad to say but Hemingway also contracted the same disease. He should have returned to the USA for treatment, but he lost his mind and went on to write the Old Man and The Sea. Years later I heard about his passing I thought right away if I never gave him the aftershave, he would never contracted Syphilis become an alcoholic and lose his mind. Many years have passed since then. All but forgotten about the aftershave until I discovered Amazon, I found a bottle of Clubman Bay Rum aftershave. I thought for the price I would give it a try. To my surprise it reminded me of the same bottle of aftershave the young man in Cuba traded me. Now that I am in my 90s it no longer attracts the young women. But the old ladies in my cribbage league tell me I smell nice. So, give it a try and maybe it will inspire you one day.
