These to me are like any other piece of wire, hadnt noticed much difference as its a piece of wire lol. However, as you can use them as cores to build other coils like claptons, as long as you can deal with the shorter length shots, or buy a reel.. or can use them in a parallel coil build (like i do with a juggernaut + 28awg reaper wire) they are worth it IMO. I went for 28awg, but 26 is also good for clapton so up to you.. below that probably better for a parallel or standard coil build
