Feels well made and easy to use. Works well in helping to determine the hot and cold spots on my flattop. Great price for a quality piece of equipment. Would recommend.

I was really surprised to find a LASER temperature probe for less than $20 and it actually works and is accurate!I normally use name brand products because of their reputation. For this type of instrument, I use a Fluke at work often. I had debated whether to purchase a +$100 LASER meter or try this one. Boy am I glad I tried this one. It is very accurate. I used a calibrated temperature plate at work set to 160 F. to test. I was very surprised when it actually read the correct temperature. Of course, the reflectivity and distance to object you are measuring will have some effect (as it does with any thermal imaging or measuring device).ThermoPro is known for grilling type thermometers, not LASER temperature probes. But they have a good reputation in the grilling industry. Now I can say they have a great LASER temperature probe.It runs on 2 “AAA” batteries, easy and inexpensive to replace. They include batteries to get you started.For less than $20, this is an absolute deal.

Item seems to work well to check my engine temperature, simple to set up just add included battery's and press the trigger and it displays temp right away

I got this for my Blackstone grill, I wanted to see how hot it was was cooking. All the recipes say to cook lower not hotter, so now I am aware of how hot my 36inch griddle really is. Works great! Had a real good sense of where was too hot ( 600 degrees) I am cooking much lower because of this thermometer!

This thermometer is very accurate and simple to operate. The dual laser makes it easy to aim and get quick readings. Great tool for cooking on the grill and checking pizza oven temps.

Needed a quick way of checking my refrigerator and air conditioner output. I have had this infrared for several months and still working great. I would recommend this unit for the price and ease of uses.

It's perfect when striving for that perfect pizza! Temperature and time are everything when cooking pizza. I had no idea. But certain things need to be at certain temperatures or failure is probable. (don't ask me how I know)I can highly recommend this inexpensive IR thermometer. It does exactly what they say it will do. No "perfect" pizza yet, but I'm a whole lot closer by using this thermometer.

Great product, used it to melt plastic and it worked like a charm.
