Quality and easy to transport
Daughter loved these. They were actually recommended by her art camp teacher too. The case is perfect and allowed us to easily bring them with us in the car, to restaurants, wherever. Will def buy again.

Easy to use and good for learning
This review is for Doms Oil Pastels 50 colors. Tried these in an adult coloring book and I like the results. They blend and spread well, and these have a good color variety. They can be applied over fully saturated areas just not as fully. These are easy to use and I enjoyed using them overall. The downside is they make crumbs when filling in areas, and they change not only in value when spreading out or blending, but also in Hue. Also the first color to go down will stick to the surface better and will be the primary color even after applying another layer. They are also much smaller then I expected. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall I recommend getting these: they are easy to use and good for learning, and best of all cheap (good value for money).

very disappointed
when i received. Box was broken and all the colors fell down inside the package itself and was missing 4 colors. so got only 46. Very disappointed.

*** Not Water Soluble ***
Despite the listing saying these were water soluble, they are definitely NOT. The set I received didn't have a water brush or scraper either. It came, instead, with a single drawing pencil. As for the performance of the pastels themselves? Not great. They're almost like a standard crayon vs an oil pastel. (Examples: Not easily blended, pigment pills and pulls away from the paper, and rather hard and waxy.) All in all, you're better off looking elsewhere for budget oil pastels.
