a hole lot of fun, and a fun lot of holes
it makes big holes, it makes small holes, it makes quite nice medium-sized holes too.you do have to press quite hard depending on what you`re making holes in.i`ve been using mine for a virtual shooting range in my front room for when its rainy outside, or cold, but especially for when its too windy, to go out shooting.plays havoc with your shooting, does the wind.i simulate the shooting by closing my eyes and prodding the little cardboard targets with a pencil [i use a blunt one for safety as pointy things and shut eyes can be very dangerous] and then having opened my eyes again so i can see what i`m doing, i make a hole with my hole-punch.i like that it has various sized punches as i can make bigger or smaller [or even medium] sized holes, depending on what sized bullets i`m pretending to shoot.i did try pretending to shoot with a shotgun but that would take ages making all those holes that it would make.sometimes i ended up with more hole than target and that made it very difficult to do the scoring.i make all sorts of targets- some are shaped like rabbits and some are shaped like birds, not that i would shoot any animals as they are my friends.i make the targets bigger or smaller so its like them being closer or further away.i used to put the targets closer or further away but i used to keep knocking into the furtinure what with my eyes being closed and all.well, the sun has just come out, so i`m going to go real shooting before the weather changes, as it does, especially around hartleypool.in august.

Does the job.
When it arrived the punch was slightly off-centre. Fortunately the head is made from stamped metal so it was easy to to twist the head slightly with a large screwdriver to align.Did the job - having lost 16kg (35lb) needed to punch extra holes in 4 belts. Job done in 5 minutes. If like me you are buying this for occasional personal use then it represents good value. If you are looking for something that will be used day in day out for some kind of professional use then you may want to consider paying more for something sturdier.

Very handy tool for a good price
This tool is very useful for me as I often find waist belts to be too large and need a couple of extra holes. I purchased this for a very good price and it does the job. Its very simple to use and has a variety of sizes for holes which all seems appropriate sizes for most belts. I choose which size I need from the other holes and choose the best location, punch the hole and go over it a little to make the hole cleaner like the existing holes and it's done. So simple, so handy and a good price. Worth getting just to have one really

Works like a charm.
I bought this to add some holes in a belt and to also put a hole in a leather bag strap belonging to my lady. She was having issues and wanted her bag strap shortened. It worked super well. Straight through the leather with no real issues. On my belt we needed to add another hole. I've lost some weight. So we had a go. With the belt. I was required to go onto the other side of the belt to complete the hole. But it was done in seconds. Great tool which should last me the rest of my life. Good price. All round a good purchase. Very happy.

Absolutely useless.
Old puncher did 3 holes without any problem. This one, would only mark the paper. It's not even a thick cardboard. Its max 120gsm paper. It did only 1 hole, and all the rest ... have a ring, but they are not cut. Very disappointed. It's dull, and I can't imagine having to make a hole in leather with it. I had to squeeze it with 2 hands, and still didn't do a thing!
