Throughout the manufacturing process of other products, we generate small solid pine wood pieces of various character. This includes natural discoloration, worm holes, and knots. These pieces cannot normally be used in our other products and can end up in landfills. In the reclaim process, these pieces are machined and joined together end to end and side to side to make strong planks of solid wood with beautiful character. It is then rough sawn and incorporated into the shelf framing of this stand. We then apply a beautiful hand rubbed Spice finish. It is then protected with several coats of CARB certified sealer and lacquer. The tops are genuine engineered birch plywood with grooves added for a plank effect. The solid pine finger jointed sides are attached via a strong tongue and groove method for ultimate durability. Why is this a great deal?
