Wood Floating Nursery Shelves - Set of 2 -Wall Shelves for Bathroom Decor, Kitchen Spice Rack, or Book Shelf Organizer for Baby Nursery Room Decor Pine Natural Wood

This product is essentially the same as the Ikea Spice Rack (BEKVÄ), which for those who know and love Ikea it is universally known to be much more than a spice rack. These applications include shelving for children's books, children's storage, towel racks (installed upside down), craft storage, closet storage, and the list goes on. I have several on the inside of my linen closet and I use it for a medicine cabinet, which I installed on the inside of a hollow door. This was made possible with hollow door anchors that are available at any hardware store. I have included pictures of this product compared to the Ikea product, and you will see how similar. This product is slightly longer in length by approximately 5/8 of an inch. This picture was taken before I painted this shelving. I wanted to use this shelving for my children's play area, and when I ordered it I was reasonably sure I was getting a similar product. To finish, I used a oil paint, which is hands down the most protective and best looking for trim wood and shelving like this, although terribly messy and difficult to deal with as it took three coats following a primer coat, not to mention it easily runs and thickens. In the past I have painted the shelving before assembling, this time I did so afterwards and I did not notice a big difference in appearance. I do recommend wearing plastic gloves because oil paint does not come off your hands without turpentine, unless you are good to let it wear off and that takes days sometimes. I have provided a picture of the finished product on the wall in use. I did not want to install them so that it would be difficult to patch, so I used silicone tape and it seems to be holding better than expected. It should work for my purposes, not to mention it is insanely hard to line up the screws exactly to match the internal hangers. Its no different from the Ikea version in this, but worth the trouble if you are doing an install as its very stable. These cost more than the Ikea version if you live close to an Ikea, but for those of us who don't (I drive 2+ hours to one 2-3 times per year), this product is equivalent in quality and price if you have to pay shipping costs, and it is slightly longer which can be a plus depending on your space. Theres tons of ideas on the Internet for using these. Its a versatile product that can look and function in so many ways. You see then in all colors and designs and even unfinished, which all can be great and its fun to be creative.

Great quality! And does not look or feel cheap. These shelves are very well made considering the price. It’s a good size in length and width to fit multiple books of various shapes and weight. I had no space for books and I wanted to display them safely without falling. And so I kept searching and it was hard to find a brand or seller I wanted to take the chance on.Also my nursery is for a boy and I didn’t want everything to be white. I wanted to mix in some natural wood color and tones. These shelf’s look great in a all white nursery and if you don’t like it you can always paint it later.

Looooove these mini shelves! Honestly took my husband maybe 10 minutes to install them? Instructions came in very clear and easy to read. We mounted these in my daughters nursery and it’s my favorite little corner.

Love these shelves! I was looking for something similar to the ones from IKEA and these definitely fulfilled that niche....they hold a solid amount of books and fairly flexible with room for different sized books. Honestly the hardest part was getting my stubborn husband to mount these to the wall And that was nothing related to the actual shelves.

I like these shelves for our nursery. We use them to display a few cute books and they hold the weight just fine. I struggled a bit to hang them but that might have been some user error :). Just a note that the wood is a natural color and it's somewhat unfinished (rough), but doesn't matter for our purposes of hanging the shelves higher on the wall.

These shelves can be used in any room of the house where extra storage is needed. Spice rack, make-up/hair product holder, children's books, even a charging station could be made out of them! I loved that these shelves come without any paint or stain on them, they are easily customize-able to fit any decor! They are made of real wood and they are sturdy! Literally everything you need for assembly comes with them, no extra tools required! Will be purchasing more of these!

Beautifully crafted! Would be great if a template for screw holes was added. That would make the installation 100x easier. But other than that - recommended.
