HP Sprocket Studio Photo Printer – Personalize & Print, Water- Resistant 4x6" Pictures (3MP72A)

After spending the better part of 2 months, whenever able, on weighing out the pros, cons, features, set backs, common issues, etc. on every mini photo printer I could find to do so with, I finally pulled the trigger and got this for my wife as a surprise gift. She was hinting at the Ivy (pff) while having no clue ones like this existed.While priced higher, its 100% worth it. Make sure to crop and follow the instructions in the booklet - and you will have some shockingly good quality photos with very little effort. Amazing quality I personally think. The power this little gadget has surprised me indeed. One of the best purchases made out of all my years with Amazon.Paper and carts are a little on the pricey side but I am meaning it when I say it prints high quality photos so this truly seems fair to me. (So long as your shot is high quality when you took it.) A low resolution shot will still be a low resolution print. A high quality shot will come out a rather shocking high quality home printed photo.I bought the pack of 80 extra with the printer. She has 20 left I think. Its been a week? And not one came out disappointing, not a single paper jammed or failed to feed, and its steady begging for more.This is one purchase she will love you for and one that after you see it in action, will become proud you made.

Prints a great quality photo, love the compact size. Is built well and seems like it will hold up for a really long time. So much easier then ordering photos from somewhere and it’s easy to hook up to a phone or ipad

I recently picked up the HP Sprocket Studio Plus, and I’m genuinely impressed with it. I LOVE this printer! One long wall in our home is used as a gallery for family photographs, and it hadn't been updated with new pictures for quite some time. I bought this printer, and I have been more than pleased with it. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and the pictures are top quality! I would rate it a 10 if I could!

It is very easy to set up. When it works, it make descent pictures but does not get the exact coloring.Complaints: roller is temperamental. Ink cartridges gives you about 52 pictures. You are forced to buy more pictures when you need more cartridges. Your only option is to get a bundle and are forced to get the bigger bundle since they apparently are out of the more reasonable bundles. (THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE SINCE HOW IS THE BIGGER BUNDLE OF PAPER AND CARTRIDGES ARE IN STOCK...) Especially since it is the same items with smaller or bigger bundle except they want more money!)I used a brand new cartridge for one picture and on the second picture the cartridge broke. This has happened more than once. If you do not check the line up on the picture, then it will jam inside the machine and you will lose a cartridge. Not to mention how long it took to clear the jammed paper inside thr machine with tweezers. It takes forever to make 6 pictures and you are forced to stay on app till it completes. It has taken numerous of hours, while babying the process to get 100 pictures.I will be looking at a new way to print my pictures. Sprocket is an absolutely waste of money and time! Great concept but needs a better quality machine. I still have over 130 of unused pictures and already need more cartridges. By the time I am done buying the bundles, then I will have more wasted pictures and not enough cartridges to complete a vacation.

Super easy to set up and very nice color and size

I ordered this printer for myself and my daughter uses it more than I do! She was doing a lot of scrapbooking with her children, so I got her their sticker printer and then got another of this printer for my granddaughter who got a camera for Christmas. It’s so handy to print right from my phone and the quality is great! The app offers the ability to add frames, filters, and decals. So fun!
