Extreme Cold Weather Parka Gen III Level 7 Urban Gray GI

It is a good fit for me when ordering my size from the size chart, slightly too large -but when you get bulky things in the pockets like gloves I need the extra room. Well made, has 2 large net pockets inside and 2 zippered pockets outside which are about the right location for warming hands also. I appreciated the X Long option, the sleeves and bottom of the parka are just right.I found the matching pants a bit unwieldy and returned those. The picture doesn't give a very accurate idea of the parka, and looks like a nylon shell rain jacket. Compresses well, into a standard usps flat rate box, which is what they ship it in.Will add long term feedback later.

I ordered an XXL. When the Army puts an X on the size they mean it. It's not like a Chinese X. Well that was way to big for me. The company took that back ASAP and took a lot of time working with me to make sure i have the correct fit. I ordered a XL and it fits me perfectly. Now on top of that i Walked the dog a couple weeks ago and the temperature was 1 degree. That's right 1 degree! With just a t-shirt and this coat and i was very comfortable.I am telling all my family and friends to get one.

Order the uniform side you normally wear. This is already sized to fit OVER a uniform. I wear MR. When I order fleece jackets I have to order a size up I. Order for it to fit over my duty uniform. In the case of this coat MR fits perfectly OVER my MR uniform. Best winter coat the Army ever issued

Works perfect when wearing it correctly in layers depending on the temperature

Great jacket for USA or USAF. The fleece just doesn't get it done under 50f. It's water resistant and wind proof.

I have worn a Gen 3, Level 7 parka for many years and love them. Light weight and warm. The parka offers adequate protection even when wet.
