I plugged my Moen Flo power supply into an outlet in the living room and ran the low voltage cord down through a hole into the crawl space under the house. The incoming water main is far enough away from that hole that the standard cord could never hope to reach. This extension was just what was needed, albeit longer than necessary. Working in a crawl space is never a fun thing, and doing water connections in there just adds to the excitement! I had enough of that installing the Flo, so I didn't need to add to it by having to run an electric circuit down there, too. This cord took care of me. Highly recommended.

I don’t like how expensive this was, but it was exactly what I needed. If you are trying to put an extension on your Flo, this will definitely work, and it has the advantage of being after the converter. If you are like me, your water line, water heater, and furnace are all on right quarters. In my case they are also gas. While there is a very low risk of a regular extension cord failing, I chose this over that option because it is after the power supply. That means the electricity that travels along this is a smaller voltage and less likely to create any sparks or arcing if it fails. Since the easiest path was to zip tie part of this to a gas line, there was 0% chance I was going to do that with 120V extension cord. This is a small investment compared to the Flo or the risk of an electrical failure causing an arc.

Would not be able to PowerPoint product if I didn’t have this extension. It works great.

Yeah, its expensive but it works. The reason I went with the manufacturer cable over some generic off brand is because I wanted to be sure that the seal between the cable and the Moen flo-sensor was watertight. Rather important for this application, considering the rare chance that it may save me from a completely flooded basement.

This cable allowed me to move the Flo power transformer 25 feet away from the Flo. Since the flo side of the transformer is low voltage, this cable is also a low voltage extension. Running this cable knowing it is low voltage makes life a bit easier. I believe I read that you can stack up to 4 of these cables in series to get 100 foot total extension. Pretty cool. The connectors on each end match the Flo and the transformer exactly.Works great. Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Love the Flo-by device but our valve went offline after about 2-months because the male connector on this extension was not a solid fit with the female connector of the power supply. I had taped the connecting together w/ electrical tape and it was in the crawlspace so not exposed to anything but temperature changes. But still it just lost continuity. I plan to remove the two connectors and solder on the extension...
