Got this for my 4 year old. This has a good amount of photos and historic art with a good mix of facts. A good concise introduction to knights. About 2 pages dedicated to each subject covered (arms, armor, training, castles, samurai, crusades, jousting, counter weaponry, etc). Perfect for the 4 yo since it doesn’t require reading it in sequence.

Bought this for my 5 year old son, while my 8 year old daughter does enjoy looking at it too. It is just amazing. Has a couple pages on Samurai. Lots of stuff on medieval warfare, how knights prepared for battle, got dressed, chivalry, jousting, etc. Buy it.

Nice little book, not very thick but has lots of images and paragraphs of info. My 10 yr old son wants to earn buying Armor, so part of the deal is reading up on Knights and Medieval history. We bought 3 books online and we're happy with this and it's age appropriate.

Full of facts, photos & is great for kids of all ages to focus & enjoy all the information even if it’s photos for now followed by questions & us reading the information/facts!

He has recently become interested in the medieval era. We got this along with the catapult kit for his birthday. While he's 13, he's special needs with a lower reading ability. This has the perfect combination of illustrations appropriate to his age and enough text to challenge him yet not overwhelm him. He's year younger brother could easily read it.DK books do a wonderful job of next level picture books.

My 6 year old son loves these books - they are really fun for kids (and grown ups!). The pictures are lovely and high quality, and there is a ton of information in them. Highly recommend.
