Works Great.

This product fits good on my original Rigid vacuum cleaner hose. It is definitely a cost savings form OEM products. The build quality is good and would buy again.

Same thing as I almost bought at Lowes. Lowes was $17.98. Looked at Amazon and ordered, showed up and is exactly what I almost bought at Lowes. Very good size for doing larger areas. Seems good quality and thickness. Has a soft bristle edge to loosen dirt. Connects to 2.5 inch hose great.

I use my shop vac to both vacuum my garage, as well as the hardwoods in my house. Works much better than a standard carpet vacuum for the hardwoods. When I would spend a long amount of time vacuuming, my back would get a bit sore due to having to the amount of bending of my back. This accessory helps keep my back a bit more upright and it's easier on the hands as well since it has the handle. The red ring can be turned, which exposes an open slot. This allows air in and reduces the amount of suction at the end of the hose. I have actually found this to be quite useful when vacuuming mats and other things that are not fastened to the floor. Use to be they would get sucked into the hose and then I would have to pull them free. Now I can reduce the suction and I don't have that problem any more. My only complaint about the ring is that it is very easliy moved and sometimes I will bump it and move it unintentionally, but that's a minor complaint and in no means would prevent me from recommending the product.

I have a dryer vent on the third floor of my home whose exit through the wall to the exterior clapboards is surrounded by a bird-proof plastic "cage" that keeps the birds out but also keeps a lot of the lint inside the cage. If the cage isn't cleaned often, lint backs up into the dryer hose, making it both less efficient and ultimately increasing the risk of a dryer fire. Until now, that meant handing whoever was doing some other kind of work on the house (cleaning gutters, repairs, window washing, painting, etc.) with a long enough ladder a twenty and asking them to remove the cage, clean it out, and reattach it to the siding. With these extenders, I can now reach it from a balcony one flight below the vent, using my shop vac to remove not only the lint caught in the cage, but also pulling more out of the dryer hose inside the wall itself because the suction of the shop vac is quite powerful. This keeps the dryer working at maximal efficiency and reduces the fire risk while saving money, allowing me to clean it from the outside whenever it's convenient to do so, and reducing the number of times I have to pull the dryer (it's a stacked unit, and the two appliances, the dryer atop the washer, are both heavy and difficult to maneuver as I get older) away from the wall to clean behind both and replace the dryer vent hose because it's become clogged with lint. The only minor problem I find is that it just reaches the exterior vent cage and another set, even if I only use one of the two extensions, will allow me more flexibility when cleaning out the vent. I'll order them in the spring when the weather is better as it only needs to be done every four months or so to keep the vent exit reasonably clean and free from lint.

Too big need to return, seems well built but did not use

I used it on my Craftsman planer. Two nuts and bolts and two small spacers on the edge because it was a 12 1/2 in planer. You will need a good dust collection system or the shavings will back up.

Very handy for Dust Deputy & 2 common vacuum hose diameters. This is my 3rd purchase. Glad to see them back after Shop-Vac going out of business for a while. It’s useful as handle for vacuum tubing & attaching hoses to multiple sized ports & gentle angle stops hose kinking to increase suction but has a waste gate to decrease suction if needed. I keep one attached to DeWalt 735 planer to keep hose out of the way.

My ex threw out my old extensions and obviously I needed some down the road. Bought these and they work perfectly. They being used on a Rigid shop vac. The accessories fit on the ends good. No complaints!

Great attachment to add to a shop vac. It can come unattached rather easily but it gets the job done
