I can actually brush my teeth
I literally did not brush my teeth for half a year because of sensory problems. I know it's nasty, I'm so aware, it's a wonder I haven't had cavities or worse - yes I go to the dentist. Well I thought there's got to be something for autistic people like me. I found these. I still forget to brush, I'm trying to get into the habit, but I think "few times a week" is way better than "never" so it's a work in progress. Well I just want to say these are comfy and easy to use and don't make me disgusted, and since there's the 3 angles it hits from it gets the job done faster so less time suffering. I did think the bristles were a bit hard but other than that I really like the design of these!

Rubber Bristles
These toothbrushes have rubber bristles, which I like. To me, they do not hurt. They reach the gumline and clean great. I haven't tried brushing with toothpaste yet, because I just got them today. I do imagine toothpaste will be hard to fully clean out of them. I got these for my brother and I, he's autistic, I'm not but we both hate brushing our teeth. I love how they clean all sides at once, I hate the feeling of my toothbrush at the back of my teeth, and this should cut down on brushing time. As for age range, anyone can use these. I'm 20, but I wish I found these sooner. I've had my share of cavities, because I wouldn't brush. I've gotten better, haven't had a cavity in a year! But still hate the feeling of brushing and I do tend to go a week or so without brushing. I still floss multiple times a week, though. I get the fluoride treatment when I go get a cleaning at the dentist, every 6 months. That really helps, I really recommend it. With these, I hope to get better at brushing. I'm going to start with brushing every night, then in a week or two start brushing in the morning too. I think for kids, these are great because I know when I was little, I didn't clean the tops and backs of my teeth. I just cleaned the front and was done. The handle is easy to grip, children shouldn't have a problem with that.

I really wanted to love
BUT no. They are too big, the bristles are too hard, they are too ridgid. I thought it I could loosen up the rigidness then they might be salvageable, and in the process snapped the plastic off just by wiggling the brushes back and forth til i was finally making progress. MOST IMPORTANT, did either of my kids who are sensitive to tooth brushes like them....no....not at all. Provided no sensory benefits since I couldn't get them over their teeth comfortably (5/2yo) or time saving benefits since once you get them over they hate the bristles (unfortunately). Couldn't say anything about performance since we didn't get to use them for any length of time before they went in the trash. There have only been one toothbrush like this that has 'worked' and it failed to reach the tops of his teeth, which is why we tried this one, which to be fair, if it hadn't been so tight I do think it was brushing the top of his teeth....we give up. Trying other strategies again. Idk! Hope everyone with sensory issues or kids with sensory issues can get something that works for you...but HIGHLY doubt this is it.

be careful if u have since gums
worked very well when you want that deep clean feeling but if you have sensitive gums brush gently and very easy to use design is great

Hard plastic bristles- not sensory friendly at all.
These aren't so bad I'd call them terrible, but they're not good. They fit my adult sized teeth, and overall I think the design of the brush is good, but that's where my praises stop. These are not regular tooth brush bristles. My pictures are this "toothbrush" side by side with an oral b toothbrush, so you can see the difference. They're harder plastic, and they're barely flexible. If a regular toothbrush is a "brush" then these bristles are a tooth comb. They're hard, and feel kind if scrape-y, which was a sensory nightmare.Plus, my dentist told me hard toothbrushes were bad for your teeth.Partly this is my own fault. If I'd have looked closer on the pictures, I'd have seen the bristles were hard plastic, not normal bristles, but it still sucks. All in all, thank goodness these are three sided, because I didn't want to spend any extra time brushing my teeth with this.

These were a lifesaver for my toddler. It’s been hard using a regular toothbrush with her fighting but these have been a big help!!
