The Best Mini Dubai for the Money!
I had forgotten how much I loved the skyscrapers of Dubai until I put this set together. It’s an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys high-rise architecture or urban design, or who does business in Dubai. I found it very easy to assemble in just a couple of hours. The parts of the different buildings were in separate bags, and the instruction booklet was very clear. Just to see how it worked, I downloaded the instructions onto my phone using the QR code, but the printed booklet turned out to be simpler to use. My only complaints about the set are related to the booklet, though, as it doesn’t lay flat when opened, due to its binding, and that some of the instructions were a bit difficult to see, when darker-colored LEGO pieces were shown against the book’s black background. Those were minor distractions, though.Building the city was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved putting pieces together in ways I had never done on any other LEGO set before to replicate the unique shapes of the different landmark buildings. I won’t spoil the mystery too much, but I especially love how the Burj Al Arab hotel turned out. Assembling the complex base and tall spire of the Burj Khalifa was the most difficult and repetitive part of the set. You do have to pay very close attention to the number of layers you’ve assembled, but the result looks fantastic, and it turns out to be much sturdier than I was expecting, given how skinny it is. Once completed, it can easily be picked up and moved around without having to worry too much that it will topple. It’s an amazingly cool display piece, of the sort that would look genuinely nice and interesting in almost any context. Pairs well with bookshelves, office desks, miniature train sets, and kids’ toy collections. One of my favorite LEGO sets of all time.

Another Great Set
Another great set from Lego. I got it for my son for his birthday. He really liked putting it together and it looks great. He is 10 and only needed a little help from us. It's a nice addition to the collection.

Beautiful skyline, expensive, not so sturdy
My son is very good at Legos. He is 12 and he finished this in about 2 hours. It is a beautiful lego. The Dubai skyline is very unique. The instructions were very easy to follow and there were no issues with the build. It is over 700 pieces, they are small, but the Lego was no challenge to my son. The finished produce is a little less sturdy than we would like. We have done many in this line. These buildings were not the most stable. The Lego quality is top notch. At 60$ it is expensive for a Lego that was finished so quickly.

Excellent addition to the Architecture series
Overall, the quality and satisfaction of build is as good as I've come to expect from the Architecture series. Some of the high piece count is thanks to the Burj Khalifa, which can be a little repetitive while building, but it's still worth it for the way it towers over the other buildings. And the other buildings were much more interesting to put together and watch take shape. There were only a couple things about the set I didn't love. For the building on the right, the bendy pieces were a little fiddly to get in place (similar to the Golden Gate Bridge if you've done San Francisco)--probably unavoidable but still annoying for a perfectionist. Also, the towers on the left still wiggle after being set in the base. Finally, I was left with three extra light blue transparent round pieces, instead of the usual one extra. I can't find anywhere I might've missed a step to put them in! But still, these are only minor quibbles, and I'd recommend this set to any Lego enthusiast.
