My husband took this offshore on an oil and gas platform. I'd say it's sturdy because the men out there can be very rough. I would definitely buy it again.

This holds a good grouping of papers to work with. They stay in place for me with no hassles. Lightweight and easy to use. The back folds into the backing to lay flat and store somewhere when not in use.

Gets the job done, but it's not super sturdy. I've had this for a while now and I notice that I'm not using it that much. Primarily its because it falls over a lot and maybe thats because my desk is pretty small. I have also had the extra pieces fall off, but the good news is that they can go back on pretty easily and without looking at a manual. It's pretty useful when I'm studying and have to look at multiple things--because my desk is so small. I'd definitely buy this for my niece in college because it would be perfect for limited space.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It holds my documents perfectly, so I can type up my reports with ease. It is sturdy and easy to fold up and put away.

This worked out great for me. It was sturdy, and adjustable.

Only complaint was that it was a little flimsy. Easy to break and cannot put a lot of paper on it.

This wonderful little copyholder is identical to my +20 year old copyholder that finally broke (except for the new "Fellows" stamp on the top clip holder). The best feature stayed unchanged over +20 years. The clear plastic see-through sliding ruler/guide/holder clips on the side without any fancy tools/springs/parts and slides up and down. Brilliantly simple and effective design. I searched all the office supply and discount stores but could not find a replacement. As a last resort I searched Amazon for an item I would not normally consider buying online and was very happy to find it here. I can't imagine how people that do a lot of computer work get by without one. It's just as great for holding papers, printouts, books, etc. as it was +20 years ago. As an added bonus, it's now great for holding my smartphone and iPod. I like the new black color but do miss the availability of that old ivory/brownish IBM PCish color of my old copy holder. Installation Tip: They hide the rubber footings in the lip of the document holder so it took me a while to find and install them. Without the rubber footings, the copyholder will slide all over your desk and you will not have "tilt control."
