It’s certainly no light weight product I’d say when full at least 1lb if not 2lbs.

Q: what is the size of the zipper case?

I couldn’t tell you exactly but the 6”x9” sketch pad fits nicely inside. Guessing I’d say it’s at least 8”wide (closed) and 10 to 11” in height. Everything fits nicely and securely nothing is cramping. It’s an excellent product for beginners and avid artist.
