Perfect transitional sleep sack
I bought this because my 2.5 year is still in a crib and uses a sleep sack and I felt like this might give him some more independence. Well, of course he prefers his old sleep sacks with no feet! But I love this and love the concept. I’m sure with time he will wear it and I intend to use it even when we transition my son to a big bed. It’s soft, easy to wash, the perfect weight for our South Florida heat and I have zero complaints! Now, if I could just get my son to wear it!

Good, Light Weight Sleep Sack
Your child is either on team sleep sack or not, so this review touches on parenting OPINION that should not interfere with the review of this product. This is a well built, light weight sleep sack. My daughter is 37" tall and weighs 32lbs and this sack has room to spare. (See photos) My daughter has used some form of swaddle or sleep sack from a very early age. She was raised with a very consistent bedtime routine that includes entering the dimly lit bedroom, rain machine playing, nighttime books and, of course, putting on her sleep sack. The sleep sack is the final piece that puts her in a chill mood for books and bed. As soon as her arms are in this thing, her eyelids get heavy, the thumb goes to her mouth and she's done with any thoughts of negotiating to stay up later. It's almost creepy how quickly she calms down. With that in mind, we've had to find ever larger sleep sacks to accommodate her. This sleep sack fits her well. Its light weight makes it perfect for warmer weather. The loose fit and open foot design also make it comfortable. Although we have nudged her to ditch the sleep sack, she continues to ask for her "cupcake sack." I would recommend this sleep sack.

Great for transition from traditional sleep sack
I bought this for my 18 month old daughter, who wears 2T clothing 3 months ago. It fits with room to grow. Not TOO big around the neck though. I bought as a transition out of the traditional Halo sleep sack. It's worked well. She enjoyed having her feet be able to stick out. It did start pilling almost right away, pictured. That's not something I care too much about, but figured I'd share that it did pill easily. It's fairly thin material and serves the purpose as a 'as a baby I expect to wear something on me to sleep, so pit on my cupcake sack'.

Item is as described.
Is light weight fabric, good for warm weather, soft. We did not use as much as I hoped because my husband prefers not to deal with zippers when changing the baby and we switched to shirt and pants for sleepwear. I got them to deter climbing out of the crib, not sure that it really did that, but child did not wear long enough to comment on effectiveness.

Big Kids vs. Early Walker PAY ATTENTION!
Love Halo! However, do NOT do what I did (I see I’m not the only one, either) and buy this thinking your chunky baby/toddler cusp who wears 2t in most clothing, will fit in this. It is huge. I’m 5’1, and if I weren’t a chunk myself, it would fit me. I MEANT to buy the early walker version, but I get all amped up on Amazon and just start loading my cart down like I know what I’m doing with my life. I cannot stress this enough, it. Is. Huge. Do not size up under any circumstances, unless your child is Andre the Giant’s reincarnation. Still love it, great quality and lightweight, so it’s just going to hang out with us until she grows into it, at the age of 27, by the looks of it.

Comfortable, we able blanket for toddlers.
I ordered this based on a suggestion from the Sleep Coach my wife and I hired to help us get out 22 month old son to sleep through the night finally. She suggested a sleep sack to both prevent him from climbing out of his crib, but to also be a wearable blanket so he’d stay warm and comfortable at night. I didn’t like the idea of a closed bottom sleep sack like what we used when our son was an infant. I live how his feet are still able to pop out of the sack so he has his mobility without being able to spread his legs far enough apart to swing a leg up and out of his crib. This has worked wonders. We love it.

great for toddler who want to stretch out but still roll around a lot
We have used Halo sleep sacks since day 1 with my son. We started with the swaddles, and moved up in each size when he grew. He is very tall for his age (literally off the charts). He was in the larges sleep sack without feet and was staring to get cramped. He wanted to stretch out but couldn't. We weren't sure about this and if it would make a difference but I am so glad we got it. He still rolls around A LOT in his sleep and would never keep a blanket on him all night and isn't old enough to really cover himself up. This was the perfect solution! We live in Northern Michigan where we have hot summers and cold winters. I put him in jammies and socks and he is perfectly comfortable in any weather. I can not recommend halo sleep sacks enough for any age!

My 2 year old loves this!
This product is great! We purchased this for two reasons: 1. My toddler would always kick her covers off and then wake up because she was cold. 2. During nap time, she would always take her pants and pull-up off and throw it out of her bed. Which would ,at times, leave me with a pee soaked mattress This product remedied both of those issues and she doesn't want to take it off lol. It's not very warm so if you live in a cold climate, you may want to get the heavier version of this. Also I see various people complaining about how big it is and it's supposed to be big. It's a replacement for a blanket. Your kid isn't intended to be walking around in this outside of their bed. It does look extremely huge when you first take it out of the package but once I put it on her and saw how it was intended to work, I consider it perfect for the job.
