Good for the environment for one thing--avoiding plastic waste. But I bought this for a germaphobe friend who is Chinese, which I thought was perfect, since chop sticks come with it. He was also living in the wilderness one summer, so it was perfect--all the eating utensils he would need in a pack and no one else would use them. Sustainability, as well. I recently asked him if he used them and how he liked them, and he said he never used them. He's like that. Buys things and just piles it up around him. At least he will have it if he ever feels the need to live outdoors again. I think it was the perfect gift for him.

Not only is this kit very affordable but it comes in many colors that are all high quality. They are full sized utensils (although the chopsticks are a tad short for my taste but still just fine) and they feel very nice, no sensory issues from mine at all. They are also rust resistant and easy to clean! I keep a set on me at my job all the time and they come in handy every single day.

They get stained with soap so don’t look uniformly black all the time but it still work.

They are very comfortable to use and the colors are very true to the picture!
