Citizen Watches Promaster Diver BJ7128-59E

In spite of having ordered a new watch, I got one that appears new but in an old pealed cardboard case inside the Citizen watch box which was sealed with scotch tape and sent out for delivery without an amazone box but with the mailing label on top of the Citizen watch box; nonetheless, I examined the watch with a magnifying glass, those used to examine Dimonds, and there was not a scratch on it. I also tested the battery, after charging it with a 10,000 luminous light, and it works as expected. I like the watch and it fits perfectly, for me. It is a good looking watch, to my personal taste. Further, it was not as expensive as the newcomer watches design to be water resistant to 200 meters for SCUBA diving - I intend to use it as a backup to my SCUBA diving computer.So, as it pertains to the watch itself, it is a keeper. As it pertains to getting a watch in an less desirable case that makes it seem Amazon found it in a corner of the warehouse next to the dumpster, not so good. Still, I give a 5 star rating to the product, a 1 star rating to Amazon for misleading, and for being somewhat insulting to the customer, me.

This Citizen diver pretty much have all the features that a dive watch should have; uni-directional diving bezel, luminous markers/hands/bezel pearl, divers' extension/on the flying micro-adjustment, 200m water resistance. Aside from those, it is equipped with Eco-drive technology so no need to worry about running low on battery. The bracelet links are actually held together with pins and tubes/sleeves, similar to how modern Patek Philliphold together their bracelets. In addition, it has a GMT function for a second time zone reference. At this price point, this watch is offering a lot.

Great GMT dive watch. Incredibly feature packed for a great price. Sapphire crystal and quality bracelet are icing on the cake. Would highly recommend this watch.

I went on a wild goose chase to figure out why this watch was not working. It could have been avoided if Citizen was not lazy and included a paper manual. For the environment, is Citizens excuse to not use paper manuals. Their website says one must go to their app to view the manual. I cannot get it to open. Solely got this watch for its GMT feature and now cannot use it because I don't know how. I got a $500 watch that does not move, and only a hunch to sit it under a lamp for a day to charge.The frustration alone will stop me from buying anything Citizen again. The build is heavy and strong, but it does not just justify this level of confusion.Just buy a Seiko.

You can set two time zones… and not worry about water for the most part. And for anyone who can’t stand scratches on the glass… this is sapphire. Only Diamond will scratch it. No battery ever. Nice timepiece.

At first glance I wanted to return that watch , but after wearing it for two weeks I started liking how comfortable it really fits , i have owned other watches with that size and weight , but I must say that one fits perfect on my 7 inches wrist, sometimes I tend to forget it’s there .Now for what I dislike , really who makes a watch with a date that not even with glasses like myself can see .Then that bezel just won’t stay put , the dam thing is just to lose , I constantly have to rotate it to head up .Would I buy it again, no definitely not

The lugs on the bezel are large so it's easy to get a grip and turn. Sapphire crystals are getting hard to find in this price range. Mineral glass is what most have, and I always seem to scratch those. So far, I haven't scratched this one. The band on this watch seems very strong, and the click adjustment (to accomodate wetsuits) is nice for those fat-Mondays after a weekend of debauchery.

This watch is great! Very confortable band, easy to read dial. Solar watch. Works perfectly! Highly recommended. Great quality!
